They didn't offer the rear sliding window as an option for XL's or XLT in 2025 (wish they would have offered that as an add on as well). EDIT: I believe it was only offered as an add-on for Lariat and Lobo trims.
My bad if in all my salad bowl I miss guided you, I meant the push button to start standard on 2025 XLT's, and now having the rear sliding window as option, that should be a option just like ACC on every trim level, is not about been a free loader, is having the option to add it instead of getting a 3k-7k jump full of features that I never asked for.

Eh, I can and have been living without it. Wife's kona has it. If someone cuts you off on the highway prepare to die when you get rear ended.

All I can say is Ford appears to be in the De-Contenting with the MY26 Mavericks not adding features. Yes they made a few good things optional now where previously not available in some trims. One thing for sure, Ford will make sure the prices of the truck continue to rise. Although the truck has hardly any competition, IMO the truck has gotten to the point of its value is loosing ground compared to its early years. To be fair though the MY25 did add some good upgrades!! (minus that ugly front end - sorry guys/gals, I know that's not the same feeling with many)

Seriously!!

co-pilot 360 needs to be standard. It’s 2025!

co-pilot 360 technology + co-pilot 360 assist are the same. Website uses one name window sticker another.

co-pilot 360 + co-pilot 360 1.0 are the same. But again show differently depending on where you see it.

wth? Blis needs to be at least part of the basic. Like every new car has blind spot monitoring but not this one.
Some of us actually just want a basic vehicle with the minimum amount of extra stuff that adds cost and cost of repair. Even in-warranty repairs that cost $0 still cost you your time. I know that opinion moves further into the minority with each passing year, though.

It is pretty impressive the amount of tech and comfort items that Hyundai / Kia, Nissan, and some of the vehicles GM imports from Korea (Trax, Trailblazer) have in vehicles under $30K, which is what many people want to buy, so I'll give them that. However, there is a reason most of those vehicles are headed to the scrap yards after the second owner compared to something like a Corolla from 25 years ago that could go to a 3rd or 4th owner, past 300K miles.

Like it or not, once the new fascia comes out the old one becomes dated. Another year or two folks will see pre-25 front ends as retro and say something like, "How quaint, my grandfather had one of those". 😉

This right here!

When I ordered my 2024 XLT, I added Co-Pilot360 assuming (this was before I knew about these forums) that it would add adaptive cruise and 360-degree cameras. I mean, "360" is part of the package name! I was very disappointed because I use our Nissan's adaptive cruise nearly every time I drive it. It's great.

This is really way too confusing and more importantly misleading.

I mean, the Bronco sport has a base price of nearly $34,000 where as the Maverick has a base price of roughly $30,000.

The Bronco sport with standard ACC comes with an anemic 1.5L 3 cylinder ecoboost.

These are not the same.
True on the Prices the 2023 BS BB I had with the 1.5 EB 3 cylinder, the MSRP was $33,135.00 the 2025 XLT AWD Maverick I have now with the 2.0 EB the MSRP was $31,510.00. I don't really care about the ACC but I did like that the BS BB had Bliss. But I'll take the 2.0 EB any day over ACC or Bliss .

That 3 cylinder was adequate not anemic to me.
At the ford site the Mavbrid System was similar. The guy that called the 3 banger dragon anemic seemed to be un aware his hybrid had similar power out put.

I couldn’t find a torque number for the electric side of the hybrid. The Ford site confused me.

I’m easily confused.
I agree on the 1.5 EB 3 cylinder and it was much better with the JMS Pedal Max when I had My BS BB. It's not an 2.0 EB like in My Maverick but was adequate like You said above.

Ford Needs to Give the Ford Maverick XLT the Adaptive Cruise Control
First let me correct something. Ford won't be giving anything to anybody.
A correct title would be.

Should Ford have adaptive cruise control as an add-on option to XLT's.

Do I like adaptive cruise control? Yes.
How much extra would I pay for it as a add on?? I don't know.🤷‍♂️

I would have loved a Lariat, had Ford offered fabric seats. Instead of fake leather which is intolerable in the summertime when the temperatures are 110°+ ambient 140°- 150° interior, here in the desert Southwest.

Perforated pleather / ActiveX would offer some type of airflow versus the solid material.

I broke down and put air circulation seat covers in my Lariat. Run off USB and keep me cool and dry.

ACC is only about speed - the steering is a different feature (Lane-Centering) that's not part of ACC itself, though on the Maverick I think they come in the same bundles.

Lane departure warnings is a separate feature still, which my XLT has.
My 2025 XLT has the Lane Centering assist which I don't like and shut off,but doesn't have ACC.

I have a couple of beefs with ACC. First, I dislike the sudden and rapid slowdown if a vehicle enters the zone. It's not gradual as it is if I were braking and it feels like I have no control. Secondly, what about the cars behind me? Do my brake lights come on, or am I suddenly throwing a big slowdown surprise with no warning?
