You should contact multiple dealers and get them to compete against each other. I did that and got the price lowered substantially. Only went to one dealer to test drive and walked away after their best price. Then called the other 2 to see if they would go down on their cost. One did. Then called the first with that number and said can you beat that by 1000. They did. No pressure game. I controlled it by phone before going back. Didn't allow them to try the pressure game. I picked one of the same models at all 3 dealers, although not the same color. I acted like all I wanted was a deal. I ended up with a better price and was happy with the choice. Bidding wars can work. And if you have a favorite color a dealer will sometimes grab another's inventory and have it brought to their lot. Go at the end of the month and push!wish some dealer around me would drop the prices in the next couple weeks - I'd be happy to sell my '22 xl and pick up a new 25 xl for about 26-7k , that'd save me from dropping 2k on the extended warranty. Every mav around me is pretty much list price
