WTH Ford Parts? 2025 lariat

I went into the ford Parts department to order a new Instrument panel " storage tray ". the one behind the infotainment Center. the parts guy told me theres No listing or part number????? Any ideas?

Does it actually come off as an individual unit or is it part of the entire dash? If it comes off as an individual unit I would be sure that the aftermarket offers some custom pieces that fit there I’m sure someone will chime in

oops, my dumb ass for got to put the year its a 2025 model. I popped my 22 out so one would think this should pop out also? I can't even find a schematic of the dash? I'm used to Honda Parts, retired from AHMC after 45 yrs and still order parts, everything's easy to find. Hell Ford Parts couldn't find anything on it

I looked at that but it wasn’t specific, BS schematics , i’ll go back to Ford parts dept and have them look at it. And yes I drove a new Honda, Acura and Ridgelines every year as well as my family part of the employee perks..

Ford's schematics are weird.
The non-purchasable SKU levels in the diagram can obscure things.

Are you looking for an insert, or a replacement tray? Did something happen to your storage tray, if you don't mind me asking?

Sometimes our parts guys will spend a bunch of time and effort to find a part. But at other times they won't lift a hand to help. It depends on their mood for the day. And if us techs have hurt their feelings, they're unlikely to go out of their way to find anything. Sad but true for OUR parts department. Might be the case at others

How many do you think they will sell? So the cost to package "service parts", stock them, pay inventory tax on them, so that the 6 people a year who break one can get it adds up. There is more to the price than cost of resin. Cost of mold, transportation, labor etc. Or super glue the broken one and get an aftermarket silicone add on to hide it.
