Howdy everyone,

Just wanted to say it's confirmed possible to enable Lobo mode on the 2025 Tremor.

Using FORScan to enable Mode 09 will do it. It seems to be the closest thing to sand mode now that that's gone.

Do you have a Job 1 or Job 2 Tremor? If you are not sure what that means, not everyone does, do you have the ProTrailer stuff on yours (that didn’t come until Job 2)?

Since Lobo did not come until Job 2, I’m wondering if turning on Lobo mode will only really work for Job 2 Mavs. I’m thinking maybe some software/module changes happened in Job 2, that are needed.

Nice! Doubtful it will do much but I plan to toggle off road mode on for my AWD hybrid. Maybe I’ll toggle on Lobo for shits and giggles.

Job 1. I don't have the pro trailer stuff unfortunately. But Lobo mode still seems to work!

so this I'm definitely curious about, because the Lobo and Tremor have the same PTU and same RDU, which are different from other trim levels.

if Lobo mode does work without errors on your Lariat, that's pretty cool.

Very interested in what happens and what differences you notice in both those modes!

Just as an added data point, you can enable it in Forscan for a Job 1 25' Hybrid, but it will exit out of it almost immediately and revert to default. Also causes some funky stuff on the mode displays. Not recommended.

I tried this today. I did show Lobo mode. But I ended up DCT codes in ABS & IPC. And Check Service Engine light.

At first, I didn't do the 760-04-01 xxxx-xxxx-x0xxx change. At that point I didn't have Lobo mode as expected.
Then I did that change.
That is when Lobo showed up. When going to that mode that is when I got the DTCs.
Since sometimes DTCs show up when doing the writes (as things switch around on the Mav's computer), so I cleared them. I confirmed I did not have DTCs, then switched to Lobo mode. Then I would get a DTC.
I cleared the DTC again and let the truck sit for a while. Went back and proved no DTC. Went to Lobo mode and DRC came back. I decided I didn't want to run it, so I put things back.

What is odd, is I still got the IPC one. It said something about it didn't like the ABS data; sorry didn't grab a screen shot of that. Again, only when I switched drive modes. So maybe there is something else. I reloaded my original ABS and IPC values and still was getting the IPC DTC.

Here is the ABS DTC I was getting. I suspect this is because I don't have the proper rear dif.

yeah, I didn't really expect it to work. I think it's looking for something in the ptu and rdu that the Lobo and Tremor share, and other Mavericks lack.

When I went to Lobo mode, the screen changed properly, and Traction Control did get turned Off. So it that part correctly. But who knows what it does with the tranny and rear end. Once I saw the DTC, didn't want to risk it.

Does it still take a beta version of Forescan? I was waiting until we see a normal release and a bigger list of changes, but this might be enough to get me to move On it now.
