I wonder if some of the early orders didn't get ROVP approval. Tim Bartz said orders without ROVP will sit and never be scheduled. Because I see the same trend of later orders getting build dates over early ones.

I'm starting think that may be an issue. If I had an early order I would contact my dealer and tell them to send you a screenshot of your order in the ROVP portal.

Yep, you most definitely have a far bigger gripe than I...damn....

I'm seeing a good bit of that too; some hybrid XLTs ordered in August that are getting scheduled but June and July orders are still sitting around gathering dust.

If I remember correctly it is about allocation to dealers not just when a vehicle was ordered. This way lower volume dealers and dealers throughout the country can serve their customers.

Ordered on June 10th....nothing...imagine how I feel. This is started to get really fucking annoying. I've called my own dealership multiple times and now official Ford last week for an update...nothing. I ordered a XLT hybrid with a spray in bed liner. Is the bed liner why it's not getting scheduled? Anything else

I’m a 6/10 XLT hybrid order as well and still waiting. I figure we are closer to the end then the beginning

I'm not sure how the scheduling method would make a difference in smaller dealers serving their customers. Working through the orders in order would mean that the small dealers orders would be handled in a mix with large dealers. The only thing that would change which orders were first would then be parts availability, which would affect all orders.
I'm sure they have a better excuse for the way they do the scheduling, at least in their minds.

How would someone check that? I've been in to talk with my dealer a few times, he pulls up the order and shows that everything is fine and "in processing" with a clean order.

there's no way the allocation system is being implemented here. Ordered from a small dealer in Iowa-2 orders-and neither have been scheduled yet. Both ordered first week of July. Ford's trying to please everyone but small dealers.

Super frustrated here. July 7 order, hybrid XLT with floor mats and spray in bed liner. spray in was removed almost a month and half ago and nothing. I'm sitting on an offer from Carvana for $18,500 for my 2017 malibu with 45k miles. can go down to a 1 house care for a few months, but the way it's going my order won't be scheduled until spring or worst yet-get pushed to MY23.

I too would like to know. I reserved with one dealership via the Ford website, but did not end up fulfilling that lead, and decided to go to another dealership in person to place my order. How does the ROVP portal apply to me in this instance?

Bed liner is a highly constrained option.

Spray in bed liner did not stop mine from being scheduled.

I wouldn't get your hopes up for an email today, maybe next Thursday.

Next Thursday is Thanksgiving so definitely no emails that day. That's why they were doing 2 weeks worth today.

No luck for my June 25 order of a Hybrid XLT Lux.

... and I just found out that for 2022 Chevy will FINALLY offer a Silverado regular cab short bed ...

... not that I would cancel my order, but when the one you want plays hard to get you're going to start looking elsewhere.
