Got free 1 year enhanced warranty on:
dent & dings PDR (have 1 from hail on roof edge traditionally difficult to do),
road hazard (used twice needing 2 new tires),
windshield ding/cracks (used once),
towing/jumpstart/fuel/flat tire ect,
fob replacement/programming,
2 other things basically covered under normal warranty I think so no big whoop.

"Lifetime" engine/transmission thing when done at this dealer, and outside the scope of normal warranty. Lots of outs for them so not sure how beneficial it'll be.

Just looked because the enhanced warranty will be over as the 1 year is coming up in couple weeks, and I discovered on last car wash my winter ice scraping hit paint on top edge of windshield in several spots, chipped some paint (so thin). But that's not included.

With the bolt I caught too far on edge requiring 1 new tire, and slash on the inside sidewall requiring other - I'm going to miss that tire road hazard since that was just in 1 yr.

I got a '25 XL Mav for less than MSRP and a dealer logo attached to my tailgate that I had to scrape off.

Jokes aside, I'm loving the truck so far.

Free annual inspection that was never told to me by the dealer UNTIL I went in for the first inspection.

Dealer is in another state, they couldn't give me free service for me to drive that far for service.

Got the three or four free oil change thing as well. Never redeemed them, just do them myself.

Also got a license plate frame with the dealer's name/info on it. Removed that sucker in the first 15 minutes I had it home... 😂

After I drove it off the lot... I knew I had got my first and last Ford with the Maverick purchase. Along with it, I got an engine fire recall and 10+ others, plus four customer satisfaction programs. Do I get a prize? :ROFLMAO:
That's why you never ever by first, second and even third year models for american vehicles. Others you may get away with second year production. Cheers

Wonderful idea, in real life things don't always work out that way. I was well aware of the advice from vehicle techs/reviewers to never buy year one of a new model. My vehicle was written off in an accident and I needed a truck. The used market in 2022 was a nightmare of junkers and overpriced super high mileage vehicles. The Maverick Hybrid (my preferred powertrain) was the only thing worth buying at the time in my price range. Recalls are not the end of the world, it's never failed to get me where I need to go.

I'm likely going to win this, because my Ford dealership located in little ol' Augusta Kansas offers free lifetime powertrain warranty on new Ford purchases. (Don Hattan Ford)

I've slowed my mileage in a new role, but currently have 50k since purchasing in Sept '22. I'll definitely be into their coverage this year.

I bought my Bronco from them also, and the warranty will be useful for a different reason: my wife has only put 6500 miles on it since April '22, and we'll likely own it another 10+ years.

I honestly doubt I'll make a claim on the Bronco ever, but given how some MTC members pay huge $$$ for extended warranties, this still seems useful to have as a freebie on both vehicles. I did also win a cornhole game they play when giving you the keys (3 shots, sink 1 to win) and I got $50 cash for that and my salesperson got $50 cash as well.

Remember I got mine in early Jan of 23 and Mavericks were fairly "rare" at that time. I did not even have a chance to sit in one, much less drive one before taking delivery of mine. I got a "free" tank of gas from the dealership...lol. My test drive consisted of driving for a couple of miles around dealership. First two impressions were how loud the engine was and how weak the sound system was. Almost 30k miles later have been very happy with my Maverick. Someday I will get around to replacing the stock speakers with something better and adding a sub and amp.
