Nah unfortunately you get adaptive cruise that is it. I also cannot stand the adaptive cruise feature and it was a major reason I went XLT+Lux for my Tremor and then added Lane Keep Assist via Forscan and kept my standard cruise.

But I wanted to be fancy with my Lariat.

Cal,
Sorry, I was not clear. This is what I meant by turning off the Adaptive feature.
To turn off the gap settings on a 2025 Ford Maverick's adaptive cruise control, you would typically use the up and down arrows on the steering wheel cruise control switch, repeatedly pressing the button until the gap setting reaches "0" or is completely deactivated, effectively turning off the adaptive distance feature and reverting to a standard cruise control mode; consult your vehicle's manual for specific instructions.

I have a 2022 Lariat hybrid and I used Forscan to:

Enabled global windows.
Enabled the F150 fog light switch I installed as part of my Diode Dynamics fog light install.
Changed the behavior of the signature lighting (also as part of the DD install).
Enabled fog lamp usage options in the BCM as part of the DD install.
Disabled the 'bulb outage' feature for the tail lights and brake lights to eliminate malfunctions when I installed a tail light bar.
Disabled double honk exiting running vehicle.
Disabled panic alarm horn (lights only). I got tired of 'butt dialing' the panic button.
Headlight switch change to 'last known position' instead of 'auto'.

...... And other options that I prefer over how Ford shipped the truck. I keep a list of my changes because they can get wiped back to 'factory' with a software update.
Can you give me the update to turn off the panic alarm

That's interesting! Kudos for Ford to allowing it to be disabled. My previous vehicles would not allow such (Tesla, Honda, Subaru).

My previous Volt and my F350 allow gap reduction to be turned off. A Toyota that I rented last year in Michigan also allowed the gap to be reduced to zero. That's why I was surprised when you said it couldn't be turned off.

That sucks.
You could have had a Lariat after all.

There's a section on my Escape's center screen to select ACC or Normal Cruise Control under Driver Assistance.
When set to normal cruise control and turn on CC with steering wheel button it chimes and pops up a warning on the IPC that it's only normal crusie control mode and I'd have to press OK.

25 manal has the section, don't know if the truck has it or not.

Enabled global windows. Can you explain?

With the remote fob double click unlock and on the second click hold the unlock down and it rolls down all the windows.

Did a few changes a few weeks back with the beta version.

- Seatbelt display dissappears when I plug my belt in.
- Disabled TPMS for my winter wheels. (dont have sensors in the wheels yet.)
I NEEED that seatbelt thing.

Edited for more clarity.
Can't you turn it off the adaptive cruise control feature?
You should be able to reduce the gap setting to 0. Making like plain old cruise control.
On most you can mine, being a XLT doesnt have it it just has standard old cruise control not adaptive..and not having the adaptive makes me very happy.. its kinda like the auto start stop..I believe the adaptive was a package for lariat models but others just had regular old cruise. On cars like my old Forester(2020) you could have it on OR turn it completely off and have "regular" cruise... bad part was it always just like the stop start resets to being on as default.

☝ It was actually a rhetorical question. I already knew the answer. I posted #17
I don't know how you're relating cruise control auto stop and start??
I have an XLT LUX. I'm pretty familiar with the Maverick cruise control and the adaptive cruise control in my F-350 Platinum.
On my F-350 if I reduce the gap feature to zero, in essence turning the adaptive part off it stays off. The Gap feature does not turn itself back on when the cruise control is turned on.

Unfortunately even if you could "turn them off" they always unless you use something like the Fscan turn back on by default and I was saying thats unfortunate.

Any chance we can add re-circ button to the display like the Canadian ones?
