how is this relevant to a class action suit regarding a defective battery?
Cool your jets SPORT!how is this relevant to a class action suit regarding a defective battery?
My bad Hybrid flooded battery was made in Spain. The article is related to batteries and the time Ford has taken to try and resolve the issue. Along with the lack of communication from Ford to owners
Camel Group
Battery manufacturing company
Camel Group is a Chinese battery recycling and manufacturing company. It is one of the largest car battery manufacturers in the world.
Glen, try not to be sad. I replaced the OEM battery, no mater where it was made and by who, with what I am almost positive is a Chinese AGM battery and it has been much better. I am HAPPY with the upgrade.Hold your horses Mark.
I saw the one you bought.Glen, try not to be sad. I replaced the OEM battery, no mater where it was made and by who, with what I am almost positive is a Chinese AGM battery and it has been much better. I am HAPPY with the upgrade.
Aren't lawyers more expensive than a new battery? Especially since most class-action lawsuits result in little more than a coupon to the actually affected consumers while the lawyers make bank.
Class action suit is more of a smack upside the head to manufacturers.Only the lawyers are benefitted by these class action suites. I bought an Interstate AGM battery and my battery issues have disappeared.
Of course Ford fought it. But we are talking about a battery. After the second one failed, I would have said "screw it" and went an bought one myself and then seriously considered other brands for my next vehicle.Class action suit is more of a smack upside the head to manufacturers.
Yes the lawyers make out big time no doubt about it. Consumers get something out of it however small.
Compare that with the NHTSA backup camera fine of $169 million dollars. I'm sure lawyers were involved and they got paid. Consumers got zip. If you think Ford didn't fight that FINE with lawyers you're naive.
Yes, class action lawsuits are almost always useless to individuals.Aren't lawyers more expensive than a new battery? Especially since most class-action lawsuits result in little more than a coupon to the actually affected consumers while the lawyers make bank.
All other brands have the exact same issues right now.Of course Ford fought it. But we are talking about a battery. After the second one failed, I would have said "screw it" and went an bought one myself and then seriously considered other brands for my next vehicle.
People can oppose useless lawsuits without being anti-lawyer.Everyone talk's shit about lawyers until they need one. Then for someone known reason they want the best there is. Just like doctors and surgeons, who wants one that graduated the bottom of their class?
