I can’t say for sure, but if it has the 2.0 I would guess it would.
Looking at the ford parts store it seems to be a different stud but same mounting point. Guess I’ll have to find an ST and swap to test

You said you need two of these studs here that this person ask you about and you told another person you need two of type different ones. You have me mixed up on which two you need. Which two do we really need ? Thanks
You need one that has the ball on top. That’s for the right rear position and you wed the A version for to secure the back left.

Im no expert. But that’s how I did it. Check with your dealer if you want to be safe.

So I need one ball type and one treaded bolt with the nut on it like this picture I just took of my engine ?

Going without cover for now. But good work coming up with the idea.

I'm surprised someone even wanted one in the first place. Usually engine covers are a nuisance. If someone wants to easily service it they have to take the stupid cover off first. Plus, it's just a pointless feature.

Thank you for your opinion.

I wouldn’t put one on your truck, if I was you.

Thought y’all might like seeing the engine bay cleaned up a little. I bought the cover available for the Escape 2.0.

Fits great. You will want to buy the additional studs to secure it with but all in it was only about $75.

That looks really nice; really does neaten up the engine bay…
I wonder if anybody tried it on their Hybrid yet?

I'm sure somebody somewhere will be ready to point out how pointless and stupid EVERY mod is we do to the Mavericks (hell, many of them just for BUYING the Maverick instead of a "real" truck). It's called personal preference for a reason. No reason to start calling out other people's ideas. I'm pretty sure to @The Weatherman it is not a "stupid" cover but a nice addition to his new pride and joy....no reason to belittle his decision, so why try to squash his joy of sharing it with us? I'm hoping that you did not mean it as it came across - but it did come across sideways in both this and subsequent posts.

Personally, I think that "stupid" cover looks damn good and plan on putting one on myself (if I can figure out which stupid studs I need!! 😆)

Ford stripped them out of the focus and edge late in their runs, word was cost cutting being the reason. I have researched a number of options and from I can see Weatherman has it right, the covers on all the 2.0l eco's appear to be the same.

I plan to hit some local salvage yards tomorrow afternoon and see what I can find.

Makes keeping the engine bay clean easier, and keeps water away from your plugs/coils.

On the downside, possibly, rumors abound that these covers are made from some of that soy plastic crop and rodents might enjoy eating it.....

Thanks for the post OP, looks good!

Well I’ll find out shortly about the rodent issue because I’m parked in a building I built for a camper we had some time back. It’s NOT rodent proof.

There was no need to get so offensive. I was just stating an opinion and that's it. I wasn't trying to "belittle his decision" at all. That wasn't my intention. And no I did not mean it as it came across. But you're right, I shouldn't have used "stupid" but I did not try to squash his joy of sharing it with somebody. I just stated an opinion that I'm sure not everyone will agree on. However, if I offended @ The Weatherman or you personally, I apologize. But when I post a comment on here from now on, I do not want to be perceived as a jerk.

Well, I hope you bust the myth!

I will watch closely once I get my hands on one - the plowed fields across the road keep me busy some times with snakes and rodents.........
