Started in Sudbury, Ontario to Nashville then New Orleans followed by miles and miles of heat through Texas to the east gate of the grand Canyon going through the beauty of Navaho country.

Took a couple of days in Vegas and after having rested a bit I headed over to the west coast where we hit Sequoia National Park and Yosemite followed by golden gate bridge and highway 1 all the way up

A quick stop at Mount Olympic National park then back across to Canada via Vancouver Island and 2 ferries. Rested a bit in Victoria then did Vancouver to Sudbury via the Canadian route.

After all that driving, all the switch backs, the heat, elevation changes. I can honestly say I love my Maverick... It handled the whole trip like a champ

(Starting odometer 7000km ending odometer 25000km)

Nice!!!! I can't imagine going 11k miles. Most I ever did on a road trip was 2500 or so in March of 2012 when my son and I followed the LA Kings to Nashville, Columbus, Detroit and Chicago to see them play. I'm from Michigan that's why it was only 2500 miles.

Nice, thanks for sharing! I'm planning to do some month (or more) long trips in my Maverick when I retire next year. Did you stay in hotels, camp, or RV (did you tow a trailer)? I got the 4k tow package so I can tow a smallish travel trailer.

Great pics! Is your seat broken in or did you use a cushion. My butt couldnt handle the 3 hour drive home from the dealership but to be fair it was a new seat. I have bought a cushion so I dont have to worry.

I drove Chicago to Denver, and Chicago to Florida with no issue at all. Stock XL seats.

Truly an amazing journey! Looks like you hit some of the most beautiful spots in our country (and Canada). Glad to hear the Maverick came through with flying colors.

Congrats on your epic trip.
I did a similar trip back in 2014 when moving to a new job. I had the new job set up and quit my old job and spent 35 days driving around the country, starting in LA, going as far north as Vancouver, BC, then heading east to Maine, then heading south to Florida, then back west to California. I bought a national park pass so that I could hit every national park along my route. That will probably be a once in a lifetime trip, unless I decide to do that again, after I retire. 🤣
