Started in Sudbury, Ontario to Nashville then New Orleans followed by miles and miles of heat through Texas to the east gate of the grand Canyon going through the beauty of Navaho country.
Took a couple of days in Vegas and after having rested a bit I headed over to the west coast where we hit...
Finally took delivery of my new truck..
Drive from Toronto to Sudbury 400km with all sounds off to listen for any defects came up clean only the smooth sounds of turbo. Handling in light snow was one of the best vehicles I've ever driven. Fuel economy is amazing.
One thing I did notice alot of...
I went from paying 54$ a month for my 2009 GMC Canyon to 155$ for the Maverick.
Spotless record.. I'm over 40 years old and only drive 10k km per year so I'll be shopping around soon I'm sick and tired of paying higher insurance because half the drivers in this province don't know how to drive.
I ended up calling Downtown ford in Toronto 400km from where I live after months of nonsense in my local area... 2500$ deposit but thankfully I'm in a position where it's no problem. Salesperson is John Mitchell first person with any customer service skills I've spoken to.
I'll update again once...
Got tired of waiting so called my dealership ... They told me no allocations that's why they didn't call me .... Just plain fed up with ford service. Seems they don't want my business.
Still waiting for dealer response.
Ford should just go the Tesla route and let ppl order online.... I've never had a good ford dealer experience with 3 different vehicles over a decade.
Automated email saying they're going to call you within 4 business hours is a lie.
As usual I will keep...
I also hate auto start stop and feel like should be an option you can remove.
Not to bad If your hybrid and 100% trying to save on fuel.
For me I bought and EcoBoost so fuel economy is not my priority.... Having the engine starting and stopping all the time can't be good for wear and tear not to...
Canada build and price is live on the website now. I submitted my build and got an email from dealer saying they would contact me within 4hrs.
I'll keep updating as I get more info.
P.S. I did notice that Canadians now have to pay 250$ for the block heater.
Check your invoice says you don't have hybrid option.....
If you place an order in Canada can you let us know where, I'm still waiting for my dealer to give me the go ahead.
