There's a section in the keyless entry settings that describes how to switch from two-stage unlock to single stage unlock which unlocks all 4 doors with pushing the button just once. (Page 79 on the 2024 manual)

Hold both lock and unlock buttons for 4 seconds. Also described on this page: https://www.fordservicecontent.com/...&div=l&vFilteringEnabled=False&buildtype=web#

The menu option also works on non-Lux non-keyless entry.
1 press driver door, 2 presses all doors. Or 1 press all doors.

The fob ability to change the option doesn't - must be keyless system.

User preference, but I prefer 1 press unlocks all. Otherwise, I found myself unlocking the driver door only, but when I would go to pick up someone, they would always be yanking on the door handle to get in.

I live in a rural very low-crime area and find all this locking/unlocking bullshit annoying af.

Thank you for sharing this hack! I reprogrammed immediately. My family rides with me a lot of the time and the kids always try to rip the handle off after first click :)

I'm more concerned with the Autounlock I've left on so far.
Like at gas station, habit was take key but driver door stayed unlocked since I'm right on that side, same with truck.
Except now the other doors are unlocked. No problem yet, but not a good habit to keep with all doors unlocked in several situations.
I guess I could sit around and listen for music for 10 min while on phone, except music stops earlier ...

Already annoying enough for backseat passengers to double-tug the handle to get out before I can hit the unlock button.

WHAT IS AUTOUNLOCK
Autounlock is a feature that centrally unlocks the vehicle doors when your vehicle comes to a stop and you open the driver door.

AUTOUNLOCK REQUIREMENTS
Autounlock unlocks all the doors after:
  1. The vehicle speed exceeds 12 mph (20 km/h).
  1. Your vehicle comes to a stop.
  1. You open the driver door.
Note: Autounlock operates for only 10 minutes after the ignition is switched off.

SWITCHING AUTOUNLOCK ON AND OFF
Using the information display controls on the steering wheel, select Settings.
  1. Select Vehicle Settings.
  1. Switch Autounlock on or off.

Thank for posting this info Gray Goose! It works on my 2024 Maverick and my wife's 2022 Bronco Sport. And this is easy to disable if needed, for those wondering.
