Was it worth the upgrade for you? They removed the bed liner and tie downs as an option, but kept the pricing the same. I still ordered the package as I plan on driving in the winter, but looking at the price difference has me wondering if I should have omitted it. Thanks all!

But the XLT Lux Package is the same price from 2022 to 2023 if you account for the features that have been split off in 2023.

2023 pricing is $1730, which is less the hard drop-in bed liner ($375), bed rails ($225) and remote start fob ($170), but the Lux package in 2022 is $2500 which includes the drop-in liner, bed rails and remote start fob. So $2500 - $375 - $225 - $170 = $1730

They are changing the "leather wrapped" steering wheel in 2022 to "vinyl wrapped" for 2023, so it is a slight downgrade.

They also exchanged the Leather steering wheel for a soft vinyl. I still ordered it and got the drop in liner but skipped the tie down sliding rails.

I have an XLT hybrid lux. It was worth it to me as I was one of the few that got the full package with SIBL at the factory. Love it!!

As far as “was it worth it”? That all depends on your wants and needs along with your personal preferences.
It’s your call, brother!

My main concern honestly is how much longer it will hold my build back for a 2023. If it means I won't receive a truck I can ask to remove it.

Worth it to me, I’m at a point in my life that Heated mirror + seat + steering wheel + remote start(2022) are “luxuries” that are a no brainer at this price point for me.

It was worth it to me for MY22. The power adjustable driver's seat was a must have for comfort on long trips.

My wife ordered her MY23 XLT Hybrid today without the Luxury package, once she found out that the SIBL has always been a constraint item and could be done locally for less than Ford charges. The rest of the package were things she didn't care about. She tried to get the least amount of options possible so MAYBE there would be enough parts to build the darn thing.

I really like the remote start in the key fob. I wish they hadn't changed that.

Yes, it was worth it for me. Heated seats AND the heated steering wheel were must haves for me. I've never had a heated steering wheel so I'm looking forward to that.

I'm a professional 12V technician, so something like the omitting of the remote start means very little to me as I can add a functioning remote start on the vehicle in under 10 minutes for ~$91USD.

The bed liner no longer being included sucks, but I'm going to try and do my best in getting the drop-in modular bed liner and install that myself as well.
