It's a deep scratch into the panel about 3" long in one area and scuffed throughout .. Doesn't show well in pics and that's as cleaned up as I could . Clearly during transit from the factory to the dealer. It's off putting and doesn't bode well for long term use especially after reading reviews.
Makes one wonder what coverings were used to protect the doors, if any. During transit. Otherwise I am pleased and this 23 XLT seems ever so slightly "put together" than my 22 Lariat.
I was unable to inspect in person. I had it shipped but the shipper noticed the damage and told the dealer and took pictures. Thankfully. Not sure if this helps though.
My door panel was scraped upon arrival. Shipping company verified it was there when they got it. He has pictures. Whom do I contact? Local dealer? Ford?
I knew I was nowhere near the longest person waiting for one, but just trying to give some optimism to those who have been waiting, that they CAN be built and arrive eventually,, this one appeared as if by magic as I was assuming it would be going to a MY24 order somehow. :)
Anyone wait longer? Started as a MY22 order that transferred to a MY23, arrived at the dealer Sept 25th, on the car transport Oct 6th. Took that long to get the financing done at Granger Ford in Iowa. A special shout out to their Finance person Catelyn (nearly walked away from the deal with all...
Well my 2022 order morphed into a 2023 order and JUST ARRIVED 732 days to the day. Not sure if that's a record, but feels like it could be. Any takers on a longer wait time?
I am dealing with an issue from my price protection for MY22 > MY23 transition order not being reflected from Ford @ Granger. The Finance person said that this is no longer available (In fact said he's never heard of such a thing to exist and thinks I'm making it up), is this true? It's a...
Yep, same here, it was built and arrived in 5 days. I am dealing with an issue however of the "price match" from the MY22 transition order not being reflected from Ford @ Granger. The Finance person said they are no longer available, is this true? It's a difference of $1750 to my understanding...
I am a prime rate lender and I am looking at 7%, is this what the rest of you are seeing, they did not have 3.9% available or I would have jumped at it, so shopping around as we speak.
The Lariat looks Bluer interior-wise than my MY22, interesting, I really do like it. That might be a good Carvana offer as I got offered $27k for my similar XLT. GLWS hope it finds a nice home.
How can a MY24 order be put forth in front of a MY22 order as my MY22 that got converted to a MY23 still hasn't been built. Is this common practice? Should I have just ordered a MY24 then? I would have if this was the case, I was assuming another 2 year wait (been at just over 25 months).
