In my research for some pieces Im working on for my YouTube channel and because I have ordered my own Maverick XL, I have noticed some conflicting information on the interior color scheme.
The seat trim is consistently listed as black onyx, but there is a question mark as to the color of much of the background plastic trims. On the consumer website in the build, the still photos (1st below) show a monotone charcoal interior color with copperish accent trims across the dash and door panels. When you go to the 360 view (2nd photo), Navy Pier appears instead as the background color with black on the door panel inserts and what appears to be Navy Pier for the dash accent.
On the media site, there is a video in which the interior designer is quoted as saying the XL interior has a nice combination of Navy Pier and the blacks. She shows a set of samples but even those samples are ambiguous and are hard to distinguish from black or blue.
I am happy for my own truck either way, but when I produce some video here soon on the colors and trims I want to be accurate. I have reached out to Ford Media about it, but am curious if anyone here has any information on what is or is not?
