Ford Authority just did an article with all of the Maverick interior combinations:
Here Are All 2024 Ford Maverick Interior Colors (fordauthority.com)

In general:
  • The Navy Pier Blue plastics are used for all trims and packages.
  • I believe there are two different door panel inserts: light and medium gray. Note that the dash's alternate color (or lower flat panel) matches the door panel.
  • I believe there are two different colors of door handle covers: gray and bronze (standard Lariat)
  • I believe there are three different dash inserts: 1) XL gray; 2) Gray used on XLT, Lariat BAP, and Tremors; and 3) Standard Lariat Bronze.
  • Three vent trim colors (with matching tray inserts): black, orange, and bronze.
I hope that helps.
That's one way to get rid of extra parts but 3 different plastic colors in one truck is just cheep to me. But I own one lol

Preference is a thing....I prefer my XLT interior over either XL or Lariat

I think the XL interior color palette works well with the cactus gray. Blue, black, gray and off white also matches most of my wardrobe.

Well I love my maverick xl but now it has 4 plastic colors because all the aftermarket parts come in black bought double cup holder for back seat and its black sticks out because center console plastic is blue but plastic colors doesn't make me want to get rid of it just wish I would have looked into it closer just don't get the white ceiling. Anyway I will just call her calico lol

The interior colors and patterns surprised me at first, but I really like the denim (aka navy pier) now. I have learned to like all the colors in toto.
The U.S. government is pushing low sheen black for all door and dash tops, as some law suites have, apparently, been filed for other brighter sheens and colors alleged to have caused accidents. To me it is just another attempt at the wimping out of America.
I don't want an all black interior, and the colors of the polyurethane inserts on the Lariat are the color of dog barf, IMO, and PU would cause me to sweat. The sport cloth of my XLT breathes, PU does not.
Also, keep in mind, this a price point vehicle, which I feel has considerable value for the dollar.
But there again, to each their own! Let's all just enjoy the ride, and/or change out the things we don't like with aftermarket choices.

My guess is that they are trying to cut down on production costs by not having a myriad selection of interior colors. I'm OK with the color schemes, but then the blue goes fine with the Alto Blue exterior, so pardon my bias. I'll leave you with one last thought. You'll be so impressed with how this truck rides, handles, and does so many things easily and comfortably, you'll forget about the interior colors.

Yea it's weird. They made it work for the Maverick but exterior colors do not match and it's one of the reason why I disliked the BAP when I got mine. I love the exterior BAP but not the interior. I feel the interior was designed around the standard heather grey cloth with orange accents and the Lariat used it's blend of copper or brown or whatever it's called. It work with both those, but the interior on the BAP just looks out of place and worse - boring. It looks like someone added a bunch of what I call bedazzled things like interior adhesives and just covered everything they could up with black but were too lazy to put any real work in on the rest of the interior. It would look much better with more of a focus on earth tones and greys for the BAP interior.

It could be worse though... we could have gotten that ugly blue and cream interior they use on the Limited F150's (or did at the time our Mavs were being made - not sure if they still use it)

or an equally ugly comparison is again in the F150 - the Tremor's... with it's orange leather. Ew. Orange stitching/accents would have been plenty.

There have been some weird interior choices with FORD lately. But overall, I guess on a positive note, there have been some unique interior choices with FORD lately and some work. It just depends on the package and that kinda sucks. It can really turn someone off from one package or another.

I like the looks of the Tremor interior on the 2024, even the orange stitching. The only way to get the black seats I think is to get a Lariat Tremor.

My disappointment with the bap on the maverick is with the headliner and pillars still being that ivory beige, Same issue I had with my cobalt.
