It is absolutely normal. Everyone that is saying it's not needs to try the same thing with their own Maverick and realize that they all do that. There is absolutely no way to adjust it, it is how it's designed, just as @Castle666 shows in the diagrams. A dealer or a professional glass shop can do nothing.

So I have a 2024 Ford Maverick hybrid love it, but I noticed that the other day when I was cleaning the back windows they move left and right also up and down 😵‍💫 i’m trying to add a video so you can see it
I just checked mine and they do the same maybe not as much. Maybe 1/8 to 1/4 in.

It's the tracks that limit the amount of rocking in these. Those of you who seem to know how these can be adjusted, please enlighten us. Show us how the dealer or professional glass shop adjust these.

I've worked on C-class chassis Fords for years, from Focus to Escape to Maverick and in-between, and they are all designed like this. It is NORMAL.

Due to the shape of the glass, how much it rocks in the tracks depends on how far it is rolled up. Generally they rock more the lower they are in the tracks.

I noticed this today after installing rain guards and was freaking out thinking I somehow damaged something when I rolled up the windows against the guards the first time, reading this thread gave me some peace lol and now I can stop stressing over this slight movement in my windows.

FWIW the fronts also have a slight wobble/adjustment, but it is more prominent in the rears. Also, the wobble I see in my truck is a lot less than OPs video.

Thank you all for saving my bacon, once again.
