I would prefer to not have to tap into the marker harness. My question was that if I use the provided connector, will the grill lights turn on even if I drive with drls turned off? Right now my side markers are on even if drls are off

The install visit shows a harness adapter connector that's provided with the kit. With that connector, installation looks like a breeze. I'm curious though that will these turn on only if the headlights (or drls) are on? Or are these connected with the side markers so they turn on no matter what?

Do you happen to have a purchase link for the rack? I like this solution. Is it fixed in height or can you lower it? I'm guessing you cannot use a tonneau cover with the rack though huh?

I think there is a great market opportunity to release a skid plate panel with a cutout for the filter and drain plug location so you don't have to remove the entire panel. Just saying it would get a lot of buyers....
