@MABETT super excited to win your giveaway. Thanks for organizing this and other fun events and for launching several good products to customize our beloved Mavericks.
I'm in the SF Bay area so summers are relatively mild compared to a few other folks. First change in my setup is to switch the hard tonneau for my Soft topper. I usually put that away for the winter so it doesn't see much wet weather, that way it has a longer life. Besides, I only need it to...
Okay thanks for checking! I might try them out and compare them with a couple other options then. Good to know. Have you come up with a better solution than the metal clips? I saw a few posts where users were concerned about damaging the rubber seal or window glass
I'm thinking of buying these vs the EGRs. Seems there are a couple more options now on Amazon that have similar lower profiles for the side mirrors, so I may do a comparison video. There are quite a few less pricier options now!
Looking at the Amazon reviews, I was surprised to see that this was...
I have always (still am) been fascinated by these Aluminum toppers from Ali Express that are listed for a reasonable price. I'm glad you were able to buy one and post pictures because it looks great! I wanted one for the summers for hauling pups and for campings trips. I got too good a deal on...
I would prefer to not have to tap into the marker harness. My question was that if I use the provided connector, will the grill lights turn on even if I drive with drls turned off? Right now my side markers are on even if drls are off
The install visit shows a harness adapter connector that's provided with the kit. With that connector, installation looks like a breeze.
I'm curious though that will these turn on only if the headlights (or drls) are on? Or are these connected with the side markers so they turn on no matter what?
Do you happen to have a purchase link for the rack? I like this solution. Is it fixed in height or can you lower it? I'm guessing you cannot use a tonneau cover with the rack though huh?
XLT with CP360 gets lane keep assist only, it does not include lane centering (and adaptive cruise control) which is part of CP360 assist package, which comes on Lariat trims only. In a way I felt cheated when CP360 did not have this feature (you can't even pick CP360 assist as a addon), but I...
I can't imagine that the engineers at Ford didn't think of this. I have a Tucson that had this "innovative" solution from the get go.
$350 is steep, granted it is made from Aluminum, but it doesn't really have to for regular use.
I think there is a great market opportunity to release a skid plate panel with a cutout for the filter and drain plug location so you don't have to remove the entire panel. Just saying it would get a lot of buyers....
You have caught my attention. Do you have a write up or did you follow one from someone else on this forum to detail the steps to do this on a XLT? Our is this the same as installing the ACC and land centering comes as part of it?
I got an update today (I have disabled auto updates until I get it out on my wife's phone 😁 so I don't get a patch I don't like) and see this screen now. Still no sign of updating SW for the dash on the app tho.
Here's something interesting: I connected to Wi-Fi through the dash to check on...
Don't really consider it an upside if it still has to be temporary. It also comes with a restricted speed. Maybe a partial upside... Yes I'm a glass half empty kinda guy I guess...
Yeah I was surprised when I had the "opportunity" to use my "conventional" spare this past week. I had purchased the spare option thinking it would be a tire similar to the 4 others, and was expecting a wheel with the same 225/65 R17 tire on it, and not this slightly smaller wheel. I'm sure...
