Power window failure

Been a way for a while. Just nothing new to show or report. Anyway. passenger window quit working. I press the Left Front window button on the driver's side, and it clicks but the window says up. (I guess up is a good thing). Any ideas if that is the motor or the relay. How does that panel on the inside of the door panel come off? I see no screws, so I guess it just gets pried off.

Any help will be appreciated. Month 39 of ownership.

Yes, tried with it on and off. There is on lock but on the driver's side door, right. If it is that easy, I would rather feel sheepish rather than do the work on the door.
This is the XL model; there is one lock for all windows. right?

Yes, there is only the one lock out in the vehicle, on the driver door for the windows (regardless of trim). I always ask about it, just as the first step in trouble shooting, it's easy to overlook and has fixed the problem for a few people before they tore the door apart!

Do the other windows work? Does the window motor make any noise at all?

If its just 1 and its dead as a doorknob my first thought would be a loose connector.

The door panels are like any modern car, they use plastic clips that can be removed using a plastic tool without damaging the paint. If you look up maverick door panel removal youll find videos that show you the exact locations to pull to remove the clips.

Thank you, trying to operate the window from the driver's door it just clicks. The rest of the windows work fine.

If your driver door main switch for the passenger door doesn't work, it's within the main switch. If you can make the window go up and down using the passenger door switch, this will confirm your main switch is faulty.

Does the window operate from the PASSENGER door controls?

If it does, then I would suspect the drivers door switch has a bad connection, or has simply failed.
