Lariat power window switches being replaced

The power switches on my Lariat purchased 12/7/21 with 6800 miles the chrome has started to peel and cut fingers (passnger side and drivers dor). I was at the dealer yesterday having my battery replaced and showed them this. The dealer has ordered new ones but said it is going to take a long while.

Ugh, so they still haven't fixed this. It's been a problem on Escape at least since 2020, if not before.

For that matter, the steering wheel on my 2012 Focus did the same thing. Good thing is they're at least covering it under warranty for ya.

I need to take mine into the dealership. My XLT has been like this for about a month.

I’m curious if I can pay the difference and have the dealer install Lariat switches for more auto-up/down.
