Windshield and Water Marks Help!

I am continuously getting these terrible water marks on my windshield (reoccurring since I took it home). I have managed to get rid of them several times by painstakingly clay bar and hand polishing them but within a couple of weeks it comes back. Any tips to keep this from happening or explanation as to why it's happening?

I wash this truck and 3 other vehicles every month or so and have no issues with water marks on the other vehicles.

Rain-X used to make a glass polish which would take all the dirt and crap out of the imperfections in the glass. Then put on Rain-X or whatever your preferred brand of glass sealant is and that way the water won't stick to the windshield.

So did a really BIG BIRD pee on it as opposed the birds around me who take really big sh** on it ??

Just a follow up- I ordered a windshield stripper from Rain-X. Applied it and used a RainX spray to clean and polish. Looked great....for about a week and now it's back to square one.... Might have to call the dealership on this one.

30 minutes & 0000 steel wool & dawn soap with water would get rid of it. Works for hard water stains on clear glass shower as well as windshields.

I've never seen anything like that. Can you take a picture of it from the outside?

I have not taken it to the dealer yet because I assumed they would tell me it's my fault. I also tried vinegar to no avail

If vinegar won't do it, I would try one of the other solutions recommended.

Maybe an inside surface didn't see the squeegee at the windshield plant?

Did you spray the windshield washer fluid to clear it ? I failed to ask this question.
If so then I think somebody put something in the wrong tank under the hood. Easy enough to clean.
