Wrecked my 2013 Honda crz in Sept 21. Car had 250k on it. Ran perfectly never an issue. Been waiting for my Mav since. Currently driving a 2003 MR2. Not the most practical car. I will probably sell that come the spring.

My 2013 Hyundai Sonata has 200k miles on it, it's running ok but I doubt it makes it until next summer so if I don't get a build date of March or April I'll be going another way.

My 2011 Ram just hit 235k and is starting to pile up the issues. Regardless, it'll make it. It's just going to be a matter of how much I put into it between now and then.

That’s the big question. I refuse to put anymore $$ into my 2008 Sienna with 170k miles. It’s been a great vehicle, but the family is grown up and we don’t need it. I’m coming up on a year wait in late Oct. With no end in sight, I started looking around for something else recently.

Zero issues with any of my current vehicles: 2010 Ranger XLT 4.0 ~ 47,000 miles. 2014 Mazda MX-5 ~35,000 miles. I want a truck that gets better mileage.

Will your current car make it?

While we wait, do you think your current car will make it until your MY23 Maverick delivery date?
I believe it will make it fine as my current vehicle is the 2022 Ford Maverick XLT Hybrid.

Yall worried about your new cars(cars that are too young to buy alchohol are new cars to me):ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Our 93 Grand Cherokee is my wifes daily driver, we also have a spare 96 Bronco but it gets random emission code issues. I drive a 91 Comanche to work everyday and all day at work on the farm, back and forth up the trails, idling for too long, onto the compost pile, and occasionally through the river. The motor is getting blow bly and the trans has been letting go in reverse for about 2 years. My wifes Cherokee is a V8 and only has about 210,000 miles on it. We cleaned up the interior and fixed a few annoyances about a year ago, the outside is a thin faded roll on bedliner coating. Motor is strong though new radiator, water pump, ps pump a few years ago. Got brakes in the shop to put on it. We have $3800 (including $1600 purchase and 2 sets of tires)invested in the Cherokee over the course of 6 years of regular use.

I have no doubt they will keep us rolling till our Tremor comes next year. If they dont I will just put a rush on the restoration of our 1980 Eagle wagon we bought for $600 with a blown motor a year ago.

Other than my wife's 2020 Escape that we use for most things, my vehicle is a 2006 Saturn Vue. The worst thing I did to is was stop driving it when I started working from home. I've made an effort to drive it on my local errands around town with the express purpose of making it last longer.

I have a bicycle. I'm worried the engine could go at any point

Currently waiting to hear on a 99 Ranger. It's a lot more rusty than I thought, but the fellow is supposed to get a few things looked at and get back to me. If I could get that for a cheap price I'd cross my fingers and drive it for the next year or two.

My problem is that the value of the car I intend to trade is tanking wildly. The used car market is crashing. Earlier this year I got an offer from CarMax for $3400 on my 2017 Chevy Cruze with 198k. Yesterday they offered $1800. Carvana was under $500.

Im sorry but a entry level Chevy with 200k is only worth $1500. That many miles in 5 years means that you ran the heck out of it. Nothing in its drivetrain was designed for more than 250,000 miles before needing serious work. That means if you sell it to someone who uses it as much as you, they will need another car or a cheap mechanic in the middle of winter next year. That doesnt say anything over $2000 to me, unless its got some special mods or options.

We have a 2023 Integra and a short-term leased 2022 Nissan Kicks SR. The Kicks is filling in until the Maverick comes.

The Kicks has 3500 miles. It might make it the next two weeks. It's such a POS.

1993 mustang cobra. Runs but not my commuter car. 2004 ranger edge. Working good. I paid $5000 in 2020 and had to put $5000 INTO IT IN 2021. Its the reason I ordered a mav in jan 2022. My 2008 ranger xlt with 300k miles needs more than I am willing to do to it. It's why I bought the used 2004 ranger.
