I’ve had 2! A 76 Sedan and then a coupe but I can’t recall the year. I ordered my 2022 in Alto Blue, and guess what, my other 2 were blue also!

My 1st wife had a Grabber Green one, that had a V-8 swapped in place of the original 6. I should have paid better attention to the signs,,,,

My first car was a 1975 Maverick, that I bought used in 1977. It was red.

I bought a 4 door Mercury Comet in 1975, does that count? (Same car as a Maverick) I unfortunately had the 250 cu in six which got worse mileage than a V8. Traded it on a Pinto wagon in ‘76 (no, the wagons didn’t catch on fire !).

I learned to drive in a '63 Falcon and then graduated up to a '65 Comet! 3 on the tree, felt like is was forever to shift from 1-2 then to 3rd!!

I wasn't old enough to drive at the time so I never got to drive the '64 Falcon. By the time I got my license he had moved on to a 72 Dodge Dart Swinger, that car I learned how to drive in. Talk about marketing, there was nothing "swinger" about the Swinger.

Just curious if that is a very old pic ? Or a really nice restore ? If someone had one that clean, and factory original today, I'm sure they could get WAAY more for it than they paid back then

My first new car was a 1971 Maverick 6cyl, 3Sp, AM Radio, no A/C, White with navy vinyl roof, Bucket seat no console, rubber floors. I think it was a fleet unit that the dealer dressed up so they could sell it. Wish I had it back.

in high school I shared a little brown maverick with my older sister we thought we were so fancy because it was an automatic in farm country where everyone had a stick
