I love the keypad on my '23 XLT. The truck would be a totally different vehicle without the keypad and without the rear window.

Ford sucks for taking away this feature.

When I originally ordered it was a MY23 and I was not sure I even wanted it as I saw it as a slight security vulnerability, but I warmed up to it. When they dropped it on the MY24 I sort of wanted it. The last time I locked myself out of my SUV I had my phone still in my pocket (I had started my car and got out to scrap the ice off the windows and accidentally closed the door - not even sure why it was locked). I had to use CAA to get in. If I had an app for it like the Maverick I would have been fine… so I guess I will survive without it and I am pretty certain I will not be buying a temporary replacement - current stick on option. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel - I should have my truck in about 2 months from now.

Ned, from your profile pic, I don't think you have too much of a worry about being locked out. :ROFLMAO:
