So, by that logic if I'm going to switch from hybrid XL to EB XL to stay in the game, but I dont want to give up XL or factory hitch, I should probably go AWD and 4K to add some package "weight" to tip the scale in my favor over Other XLs with lots of standalone options, yeah? If I have to spend more to compete, I'd rather get AWD and 4K for my money than XLT trim. When it comes to the AWD, Ford will likely always start with the Lariat as they cannot schedule any EB Lariats without the AWD. They just aren't going to leave the rest of the Lariat parts sitting in the warehouse to build a basic XL AWD.
Just like the standalone hitch, one-off add-ons will be a lower priority than anything that is included in a package because Ford has to sell the package as a complete whole and needs that one part included.
