I ordered a Hybrid Cactus XLT with Co-Pilot 360 and a tow hitch. I wanted something basic to run errands around town. My daily is a Raptor and I wanted the exact opposite, something easy to park with good gas mileage. I'll save the Raptor for fun trips.

(Didn't care for the bright aluminim wheel with the cactus gray. I think the black will look better.)

I did not order AWD or Tow Package or any other extras. The Lariat Trim comes with tow hitch and pin connectors. I don't really tow and I don't off road. I live in LA so we don't get snow very often. I really didn't need the heated items, but they will come in handy on those few icy cold mornings when I have to get up at 5 am and hit the road.

I did the EB, but initially wanted the Hybrid and I may regret that decision, but that's my build. I will add a few after market items like floor mats, led tail light kit etc.

Just for reference I am 62 and hope this is the last new vehicle I buy, but I wouldn't book on it. LOL

XLT Hybrid, carbonized gray, lux package, sliding window. I'm 66 and retiring next year. I currently drive a Fusion hybrid so I know what to expect with performance. Can't wait to have a bed to haul basic stuff you can't fit in the trunk. I live in PA so will probably need snow tires for winter but I'm ok with that.

Alto Blue.

XLT for cloth seats in Las Vegas summers, not vileathernyl (as nice as they do look in the Lariat).

Lux package for heated seats in Las Vegas winters and a 60 yr old back.

2.0 EB because I like power, regular transmissions, and I dislike the feel of a hybrid with a CVT.

AWD because of the rear suspension setup.

FX4 because of the big electronic screen in the middle of the instrument panel. Not thrilled about the wheels and tires, though. I like the regular XLT wheels better.

4K towing because of the upgraded engine and tranny cooling, again for Las Vegas summers, and the lower drive ratio because I like even more power. I don't tow anything.

360 Copilot because I'm getting older and it's like having extra insurance. I hate admitting it but I'll probably use it when I least expect it.

Alto blue because we have a tradition of dark blue cars, and it looks particularly great with the XLT interior. I wash cars a whole lot.

Never ordered a new car for me before. I'm really surprised that of everything out there I'm buying a small truck. And, my first Ford in 40 years after being a GM guy with a couple nice Chryslers thrown in.

*******

What is so great is that there is a Maverick flavor for lots of tastes. Everybody has a particular reason for what they built, and they're all good.

Can't wait to see you all in the wild!

Yes, but not with the black FX4 wheels. You have to pay $795 for other wheels.
Tell me about it, that sucks! I foolishly added the black painted and I could probably change, but I don't want to have to bother which doing my own wheels at this point.

Rapid Red Lariat loaded. I've needed and played with buying a used truck for the occasional Home Depot runs. Have a 2015 Prius and don't want to lose the 40mpg.... Prayers were answered....... Plus I'm looking at 70 and decided to go all out ..... had a red truck as a kid... might as well have the last vehicle be a bigger (not much) Red truck
I am in the same situation. My F-150 ruby red has big engine and Loves gas stations, just getting tired of $ spent on gas, but love my truck. I'm at 78 so ordered the same as you but Rapid Red, which will be all I need and go out with a bang

Lariat Lux AWD EB in Area 51.

This is going to be my daily, so I want the same features I have currently, like remote start, heated leather seats, etc. The hybrid intrigues me, but I’m also a fan of EcoBoost engines since they were newer back in 2011. I’m also a teacher, and while my wife and I are set up financially that I could get an F-150 or a fully loaded Ranger, it just didn’t feel right looking at those. The Maverick was announced at the perfect time and I’m happy that it did. I can’t wait to get it.

I’m in my early 30’s, 2 kids, DIY frequently around the house.

My Maverick will be my first truck, hybrid, and American vehicle. No 360 or lux packages, just the options I want.
..
XLT Cactus Gray
floor liners w/carpeted mats
bed extender
manual rear sliding window
trailer hitch receiver
molded splash guards front and rear
bedliner-spray in
tailgate lock
window air deflector-4 piece
wheel lock kit

I am buying this truck for its versatility and size. I prefer this size vehicle.

I ordered an XLT with the ecoboost, AWD, and 4k towing package in Velocity blue. Why...well for a few reasons. One being ive never owned an AWD or 4wd truck or vehicle before. Only RWD. So I wanted to try it and see how well itll do in snow here in CT. RWD works fine for me but wanted to try it. Also didnt want the dealy in production of the ecoboost, tow package and FWD. FWD is fine but didnt want to wait longer than I have too. I will be moving across the country within a year or two max and I need that extra capacity for towing and 4k is MORE than enough to tough a uhaul trailer of my stuff (single guy worth of stuff) wherever i want with room to spare and not blow the thing up. Velocity blue...well of all the colors I liked it the best. i love blue and didnt want to pay the premium of cyber orange although it was very tempting. Overall for me and my needs for everyday use, i think I chose wisely. Only other options i got was the in cab outlet on the center console, full size tire, and spray in bed liner. Oh yea and XLT since i really love the interior of the XLT. The orange accents are really cool! And the seats and dash look sharp

With the price of gas increasing, my F150 5.0 is eating up the $. I deliver auto parts on occasion and needed something that could haul a windshield or two and get decent gas mileage so this guy fit the bill. I also have a 50 mile commute (each way) and I don't think gas will be decreasing in price any time soon. I've only used the 4 wheel drive twice since I've owned it (the F150) so I've opted for the hybrid front wheel drive. I started with a Cyber Orange XLT with spray-in liner, hitch, power outlets and rubber floor mats but changed the order to the XLT lux pkg instead. Not in a rush to get it but anticipating it's arrival!

XLT -cruise control (I wish it were standard on XL)
Hybrid - I think it has the potential to last longer than the turbo. I don't trust turbos. Also, the transmission is mechanically, beautifully simple. Ought to have lower cost of ownership, too.
Oxford white - just looks right!
Full size spare - really Ford...a doughnut... On a truck?
Trailer hitch - always good to have
Air deflectors - so I can crack my Windows and not worry about it if it rains.
110v AC in cabin - I wish it were in the bed, but apparently that's LUXURY for ya.
thats a good combo! I went with the ecoboost but i feel ya on not trusting them. Its my first turbo and 4cyl vehicle so itll take getting used too. But given theyve been out for a while now im assuming they worked out most the kinks (knock on wood) CVT was the only hangup for me on the hybrid. Those I dont trust myself for the long haul. But either way it depends on your needs and wants. Your setup is very utilitarian and itll look sharp!

I totally thought the same about the CVT before I started learning what this cvt is like. It's an eCVT that consists of two electric motors/generators and a gasoline engine directly geared to a planatery gearset which drives the wheels. No belts in the transmission. No changing gears. No clutches. Mechanically beautifully simple. Actually my biggest concern is the controller. *knocks on wood*

Also, Google search "Ford Escape Hybrid NYC taxi"
