I had one for a while. It worked fine but was just too much trouble 95% of the time. It made the tailgate heavier for my wife and harder to load stuff. I ended up taking it off. A little folding step seems like it would be better.
Had mine since April 22 and have only 18K miles. No issues outside of recalls until this month when the service light came on. They replaced the shift dial. I put an AGM battery in and have had no battery warnings since.
I knew I would see recalls for my 22 hybrid because it's a new model. I got more than I expected but I still love the truck. At least I was never stranded. Knock on wood.
Sounds great. That's what they do on jet engines. I worked on a computer that ran the tester for the oil for Navy jets. It seems old opinions fail to die.
It will disable the 360 lane detection if plugged into the trailer connector. I plugged a bike rack LED light in the trailer connector and that disabled the 360. So I guess that's why they have to plug into the brake light harness.

Catalyst theft around here is a big problem. My order being the hybrid makes it a prime candidate. Will the skid plates protect it. If not I'll have to figure out something else.
