I have a 24 xlt 4K fx4 eco boost. I do not have sport mode. I have the L button. I live in an area where the country roads are hilly and curvy. 30-45 mile a mile an hour . There are times I love using the L button. I also enjoy having the lower gears. what is the actual difference between sport mode and the L button?

I have a Tremor with Sport and that is dependent on RPM for up-shifting. The L option by the manual holds the shifting to low gears for tight turns and hilly terrain. At least that is how I understand the manuals description.

Still learning on our 2026 Tremor but it has changed far as modes. No L, rather the button in the shift dial is M for manual shifting with the paddle shifters. Sport mode will hold a gear till a higher RPM range before shifting up along with increasing the throttle tip in.

Kent, @SuperK401,
You can add Sport Mode to your 2024 via FORScan.
Maybe we'll get a reply🙏

It's in that other thread for adding sport mode...super easy. Just need to use easy mode and enable the drive modes that show as disabled.
@crbalch
I was wondering. What would the link be for the "other" thread?
