Update: Thanks to @Mavl-ous
He brought to my attention. The T 50 is the same size as the TP 45. Very similar to some of the metric sockets being the same size or close to SAE Examples
8mm (5/16"), 10mm (3/8"), 13mm (1/2"), 16mm (5/8"), 17mm (11/16"), and 19mm (3/4").
I went back and rechecked the smaller screws along the tailgate and I couldn't find a similar matchup between TP and reg. Torx.
I started this thread because a lot of folks don't understand the differences between Torx PLUS &Torx. Ford uses Torx Plus on our Mavericks.
The difference between regular Torx and Torx Plus is pretty significant. It becomes a difference between stripping out the bolt and not stripping it. Here are some pictures and a short 9-second video.

When you look at these pictures. The difference is clear. The TORX PLUS design, appears to be more robust.
While a T50 will fit in a TP45 bolt. It can get a little chewed up

Not quite sure that would fit all the piles of tools and tool accessories I have accumulated. The wood working stuff is kind of bulky, though, and wouldn't fit in those useless skinny drawers.

That would actually fit easily in our garage, but most of the drawers would be empty.

No woodworking stuff except smaller power tools.

Although I've been working on vehicles and power equipment for 50 years, I don't have that many tools -- relatively speaking. Basically, my tool purchases have usually been on an as-needed basis. I got all of the basic Craftsman tools as a teenager and then gradually added to the collection. These Neiko TP drivers are a good example. I didn't realize they existed until reading this thread.

I'm using a 2-piece Craftsman tool box, like this:

Along with another box slightly smaller than that top box:

BTW -- one design flaw with that box is that when the latches are open (hanging down) they prevent the top drawer from closing all the way, which means the lid cannot fully close and lock the drawers. Not the end of the world, just annoying.

Having one larger box with roomier drawers would be better than having tools spread out in different boxes.

10% military discount + 2% non-lowes visa + 1.5% Lowes rewards.

But on sale items, no military discount, so I have to settle for 5% Lowes credit card and 1.5% rewards.

If I have it straight, the military status also causes a .25% boost on the rewards.

13.5% is nice!

Even smaller amounts add up. I mentioned that the 2% rebate from the WF "Active Cash" card adds up to about $500/year -- and we're retired with no dependents.

Yes, I think you are correct on Lowe's. I forget, usually about the Lowe's rewards. 13-14 years ago when I was building my current home the Lowe's discounts were stackable. The window supplier was upgrading their thermopane (cheaper builders grade aluminum line but for the price, I sprung for 23 33"x60" putting 13 in my "patio" room, 4 8'x6' and a single next to a twin glass door). They were end of month clearance at 75% off + 10% vet + 1.5% Chase Visa so about $19.25 with sales tax! Impulse patio 600 sq ft (worth every penny of it) added about $5k to house cost! (Good lol days when va happened on sale items).

For the most part, all you need to do most work on a vehicle is a set of sockets and wrenches (metric), and a few oddballs like a large 24mm socket or whatever fits that crucial nut on your vehicle. Then you can start adding in specialty (E-socket)or convenience tools (serpentine belt wrench) to your heart's delight. If you get into more heavy-duty stuff, you might want a ball joint separator, a torch, etc. And of course the Brand or Vehicle specific tools some F-ing brands require to work on stuff in hopes you'll just take it to a disservice center.

I've collected quite a bit over 50 years, but mostly on an as-needed basis, as you said.

The garage is 30x40 with poured concrete walls, a 13' ceiling and a 2-post lift, but I have to admit I don't use it much. I would have appreciated it more in my teens and 20s.

That's what I keep saying to my wife -- we need MORE LIFTS!

Needless to say, it comes in handy, but for many jobs I still use a floor jack and axle stands -- it's actually easier in some cases.
