Think of it like the child door lock. If enabled, a "kid" can't roll down the window and jump out at freeway speeds. Similar to the child door lock where they can't open the door and jump out at freeway speeds. So it locks the rear window control FROM the rear.
Thank you.
This usually is not for safety. Usually it's because the shape of the door. Due to the rear wheel well intrusion the window will not fit all the way into the rear door.Yeah I had a Taurus that you could only put the rear windows half way down.
I guess to prevent kids from jumping out.
Hated that.
I guess this is better.
Never cared - until I was waiting for someone at a hospital - after about an hour waiting in my truck I began exploring some of the controls. You’ve had your truck for a year and don’t know what that button does?RTFM
My current 2002 Jeep Wrangler has roll up windows.Apparently some of you came over straight from crank windows.
It makes you "king" of airflow. It doesn't seem to stop the window from rolling up or down like it implies. What does this do?
