What did your Maverick replace or is it your first?

That it is, this was my first corvette got it new in 1977. Gave it to my niece. Had it for 48 years. During that time till now I had a 2003 50th anniversary convertible, a 2005 convertible, 2013 60th anniversary convertible and a 2012 Grand Sport convertible. That one I still have.

Oh well thats even cooler if you had it since new and its still in the family. In a way its not really gone then!

My 2025 Hybrid Maverick replaced a 2023 Ecoboost Maverick, but I was previously driving both a Kia Forte and a rusty, beat-up Ford Ranger.

I wanted the best of both worlds; good gas mileage with the convenience of a small pick-up. The Maverick was, and still is, the perfect pick!

I drove a 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan for 9 years and used it for everything… hauled kids and furniture and lumber and groceries and anything and everything else (loved that stow-n-go seating).

I bought a 2024 Maverick hybrid XLT in February of this year, and I love it. We just hauled home 21 arborvitae trees—which we couldn’t have done in the minivan for sure.


We bought it from a dealership that specializes in rebuilt titles. It had 7k miles and had been in a side-swipe accident. Buying salvage saved us a lot.

Highly recommend Prestman auto in Salt Lake City.

didn't replace anything. sits alongside my ford escape and the other vehicles in my family. it was purchased because it's more a utility vehicle than anything else we currently own.

I had a '15 F-250 and my son had a '15 Expedition. Multiple cancers wiped out my road tripping with horses ambitions and insurance got expensive so we downsized to a single Explorer. In '21 leased another Explorer and when the lease was expiring hoped for a hybrid Explorer or F-150. Then I spied a Maverick on the lot - ordered ours to coincide with the lease expiration. Worked perfectly but do miss a couple of the bells and whistles we had in the Explorer.
We keep forgetting the Maverick needs gas - think we'vee filled it three times since September.

Coming from a 2015 Ford Focus that i put 150K miles on, still running strong, surprisingly with it duel clutch trans. Got a 2025 XL Hybrid and loving it. Wanted a truck, but didn't want the high mpg, this truck beats my focus easily.

2018 Nissan Rogue (Preceded by 2010, 1994, and 1983 Nissan pickups -loved them all (before someone corrects me: yes, the 1983 was actually a 'Datsun). Further back, I had a 1968 El Camino SS396.

I traded in a '24 Nissan Versa S manual trans with 26k miles. I ordered a '25 Maverick Lariat hybrid AWD w/4k tow. I liked the Versa, but my new cyborg knees didn't. Stop and go traffic would leave my knee aching and two bags of feed and groceries in the trunk made the car squat.

I received the Maverick on 2/7, had a fender bender on 2/10 and could not get a replacement sensor wire harness (SZ6Z15K867BA) to repair it. I paid for a specialist to come and rebuild the harness on 5/19.

I'm told my truck will be ready by 5/23. That's more than three months out of service due to Ford putting sales profits over customer support.

I always wanted a Maverick Hybrid, but I needed AWD to access my land and for winter commutes. My daily commute is 104 miles.

Just replaced (drove home last week) my 2014 Silverado with a 2025 XLT hybrid. At 6'2", my primary concern was how I fit into it, but I'm currently very happy with the Maverick. After years of pumping gas into the full size Silverado, I came to the conclusion that I don't really need a "truck", I need a car that I can carry lumber or a large appliance in occasionally. The Maverick fits that bill very nicely.

Maverick will eventually replace my 2006 Ranger. Only thing tjat I'll miss is the 6 foot bed. Maverick ride is a dream compared to the Ranger.

Replaced a 2015 F-130 SRW, Platinum. First 3,500 miles have shown a huge savings in gas $$, and the bed, though smaller, still very useful. Best part is I can fit into any parking spot now!

The 2025 Ford Maverick Lariat Hybrid replaced our 1995 Ford Taurus LX wagon. We purchased it March 1995. (165,000 miles) It need a new muffler & cost of repair was more than the Taurus was worth.

I still have my 1990 Ranger (135,000 miles), we purchased in Jan 1990. It is in better shape than the Taurus.

The new 2025 Maverick is about the same size as my 1990 Ranger. Here it is next to the Maverick, I test drove before putting a deposit on my Blue Maverick.
