Just curious—what kind of vehicle did you have before the Maverick?

Was it a full-size truck, a smaller car, an SUV… or maybe the Maverick is your very first vehicle? 😊

People choose the Maverick for all kinds of reasons—whether it’s downsizing, upgrading, or just trying something new and simple.

Was the change a big one for you? Do you miss your old ride at all, or are you happy with the switch?

Feel free to share a photo or a story. It’s always interesting to hear where everyone started.

🎁 Also, just for fun, we’ll randomly pick 2 people who comment to receive a set of mud flaps.

(For those who have already purchased the products, the prize will be converted into an equivalent value coupon.)

The giveaway ends May 27 at 11:59 PM. Just leave a comment to join!

I replaced a 2022 hybrid XLT HPR Maverick with my 2025 hybrid AWD Eruption Green Lariat Maverick.

This has been the best vehicle I've owned since my 2006 manual Scion xB.

The most fun vehicle I had was a 2019 Fiesta ST.

In 2016 I packed up my 99 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo to start a new life in Austin TX. I made it 2/3 of the way before I crashed and had to wait for friends to pick me up with all my possessions sprawled in a gas station parking lot.

I was gifted a 2013 Chevy Malibu by family that was well kept but not very exciting to drive until last year when I bought my first new vehicle and I have been in love with driving my 24 Maverick Lariat Tremor.

I hope everyone finds enjoyment in whatever vehicle they spend their time in and if its a Maverick even better. Cheers!

I had a 2015 Honda CR-V. But the last few years I've had to fold down the rear seats to accommodate my wife's wheelchair thereby making it a 2 seater.

I decided to look at options and discovered the Maverick. My biggest concern was the egress/entry for my wife. I measured and was happy to find that the seat height was the same. When we took our XLT for a test drive, my wife said I love our new truck! The salesman and I new it was a done deal then.

Now we can have passengers and the wheelchair riding comfortably at the same time.

As a side note, I have never really liked front wheel drive vehicles, as I would rather be "pushed", as in my Vette. But the AWD of the Maverick has brought a whole new game to town and I love how it corners. I've had full size trucks and a mini king cab but this is the best by far.
My Mom is 83 and has Trouble walking and Has Arthritus and she got in my Maverick real easy on Tuesday [First Time She Rode in the Maverick] and said afterwards it was easy to get into.

I had a 2023 BS BB before the Maverick and had like 7 F-150's before the BS BB. But the Bronco had some issues i didn't like and had a bunch of Recalls and i missed the truck bed so i got the Maverick.

The similarities are too much! Your Mav looks EXACTLY like mine (I'm assuming yours is the Desert Sand as is mine)!

My '25 Maverick XLT replaced my '21 Prius Prime, which was totaled in a crash. I had a 2018 RAM 2500 HD and I sold it when I sold my 11000lb boat. I really missed the utility of the truck, but didn't need to tow or haul anything big anymore. With the loss of the Prius, the Maverick seemed to make sense for me. I got it for $2300 below employee pricing, which I think is a good deal, though not even close to the deal I got on the Prius. I have a few mods to do, so I'll probably post some photos later. I really appreciate all the info, updates and mods you all have documented here, they are super helpful!

Replaced an 18 Ioniq PHEV with a 25 Maverick Lariat HEV. I've driven hatchbacks for nearly 20 years and they were perfect for me: flexible space, good on gas, fun to drive. I've always kind of wanted a truck, but they were just way too much automobile for a daily city commuter with regular travel out of the city. The Mav is perfect for me and when the 25s came out with AWD on the hybrids, I was in.
