Also have a 23 Tremor. Wasn't interested in the feaux leather seats. Am super glad I bought mine at the locked in 23 price. The new Tremor flagship truck ,to me, is over optioned and over priced.
Have done all my vehicle transmission changes at 30,000 miles and have never had an issue. Donn't believe that 150,000 bs. That's meant to sell more vehicles.
Stay on the south half of the U.P. and you'll be okay. The roads on the lake Superior side of the penimsula are likely to be impassible if not closed with the predicted weather.
Have had my software patches (3) done at the small dealer where I purchased my truck. Had to wait a little longer to recieve it as they don't have a large allotment per year. That being said, the service has been excellent. My camera update was done in an hour. It was only the second one they...
If my riding mower, pressure washer and snow blower manuals recommend a cooldown period, and they do, then giving a cool down to my turbo charged truck is a no brainer.
2023 XLT Tremor w/Lux pkg. No issues. Get a kick out of all the complaints about software recalls. I worked in aviation for years and even though software is heavily scrutinized, notices about software issues are constant. People nèed to get a grip.
Still have my 2006 Ranger 4x4. 4.0 liter, 202,000 miles and counting. Runs great. Have been alternating driving the Maverick with it. Just to keep the mileage down.
A good tailwind makes a huge difference with these trucks. Especially over 55. My Tremor gets about 29 mpg @ 55 on level roads. Put a 15 mph tailwind ànd mileage jumps to 35. Drive 70 on highway (more wind resistance) and mileage drops to 26. I haven't towed any long distance trips as of yet...
Have had my Tremor 1 year today. 6,634 miles. Average fuel consumption is 27.9 mpg. I quit figuring the mileage after 2,000 miles as it was very accurate on the instrument console (+/-.1). I'm obviously not an aggressive driver. The mav is great in our long snowy winters.
My first 'mini-truck' was also the last new truck I bought prior to the Maverick. A 1988 silver with maroon/red trim Jeep Comanche Pioneer 4x4. Manual tranny and hubs. Hand crank windows and a vinyl bench seat. Was a great hunting truck and hauled tons of fire wood over the years. My favorite...
The FX4 will give you better highway fuel economy. My Tremor averages 27 overall. 31 on 2 lane 55-60. Milage drops to 25 at 65-70 interstate speeds. A heavy foot will use more fuel for sure.
Funny how 'common' and 'easy to get' the Maverick is. Still only see another one ocassionally where I live. Local dealer only gets 16 or so a year and when one shows up on the lot is gone in a couple days. A good friemd of mine who lives in eastern Montana just took delivery of his Lariot AWD...
Would really like to see what the distance from the ground to the exhaust system is at a few different locations before I lay money down. Pictures please!
