Ford told me $17,500 for my 2020 Corolla, but I just filled out carvana’s online quote system — they offered $21,200. My truck is being built end of Feb so I have some time. Anyone ever used Carvana? They just bring you a check?
My new (if it ever comes) Maverick is replacing a '95 F-150 XL club cab 2WD 6 1/2 ft bed with a rusted out frame. Drove it to the scrap yard and got $600 for it. In the meantime I'm relying on my '08 Grand Marquis to carry the load alone.

Depends on the state you live in.

One thing to consider is the tax break you get from a trade in to the dealer as opposed to selling third party. If trade in value for your current vehicle is $15k then you'd have to sell it for about $1000 more third party to come out even.

Yes. I sold my BMW i3 to Carvana. It was easy, and they paid me well. I requested a direct deposit, which was confimed as processing within a couple hours and in my account the next morning.

So they will pay off the loan and the remainder will go into my account?

Never used them but I believe they bring you the check or mail it within a few days. Definitely go with the highest offer.

I had an 06 Mazda B2300 (Ford Ranger) with 125k miles. Carmax offered 4800, I sold it on craigslist for 7700 cash.
Yeah, my 04 Ranger 4x4 with 130K was offered to all those online companies. The best offer was $1900 from them. The dealer offered $4k for trade-in. Sold it on Craigslist for $6500 which it needed tires.

I used Carvana to sell my 12 year old Ranger earlier this year. The process was super easy and quick.

2020 Nissan Frontier, sold it to Give Me The VIN in early January. My Maverick is in production as we speak.

It is currently for sale. Surprisingly our dealer wasn't interested in a trade in and Vroom and Carvana only offered us $1200 so we are trying to sell it outright.

It seems selling used car is much more profitable than selling new ones. My 2013 Outback Limited with less 90K miles was offered by Carvana for about $12K. But similar ones for sale are $18K. Can selling a new car get 50% profit/income?

We sold our car to Carva so that we could use the money for our Maverick weirdest experience ever but the check cleared so we were happy. For reference we had a base model 2019 Subaru Impreza like as base as it gets we bought it used for 18K Ford offered us an honestly 15k at that time the car barely had 16,000 miles on it, Carvana offered us 21,700ish which is kinda crazy but we also live in Colorado so ya know the Subaru premium applies ;). We thought why not probably the only time we will ever turn a profit on a loan that we had previously rolled a balance onto.

Scheduled with Carvana
Took the car to a random Safeway parking lot and met the representative.
Signed a few papers mostly pretty normal s stuff the only weird things were ADOT papers. I had to google that best guess was that it would be shipped off to Arizona for processing/sale.
Then the guy handed us a check for the difference and shook our hands.
We immediately ran to the nearest Wells Fargo to cash it make sure it cleared, which it did, two days the later the loan balance was payed off in full.

It was really strange honestly, we expected like the commercials they would come with flatbed and haul it off but it was just some dude in a 2009 Acura with Carvana decal slapped on the side of it. He locked the keys in a little bag on the door and left the car parked in the parking lot.

Never in a million years would I buy from Carvana but so long as the checks clear I’d probably sell to them again.

My dealer didnt even want to make an offer on my ‘04 monterey with 250k miles. It sold in a few hours on facebook marketplace. Probably could’ve held onto it for a while but my dealer said 6-8 weeks until delivery 😂

My 2018 Chevy Colorado Special 100 year edition Z71 caught fire and exploded while parked in my driveway. Cause undetermined. Also set my house on fire. The Maverick was more than a new truck. It was a therapeutic new beginning.

Ford Dealer offered me $6k Canadian on a trade for my 05 GX470 with 160,000km. After I finished laughing so hard at him I dropped it at my Porsche Dealer who consigned it for me and sold it in 2 days for $23k and cut me a cheque for $20,500

Im keeping it...2500hd chevy...almost 300k miles but I need to keep it to tow my large cargo trailer on the days I need it for my work...otherwise Mav will be daily driver...
Same here. 2003 Ram 2500. Bought it new and nothing wrong with it other than the 13MPG gas loving 5.7 Hemi. Using it for all the heavy lifting while I enjoy the modern comforts of a loaded Lariat. Sold my Cruze last summer when I got a new price for a used vehicle. Also have an Indian and a Ural to get around on if the temps are above mid 30's in the morning.
