selling a little house I bought for a landing spot when we relocated for retirement. we then moved to our forever house and I was hanging on to the old 1 in case of friends or family visiting (hasn't happened in 4 years now) or considering as a rental, but after the Gov't rent moratorium I'm glad I didn't go there With the crazy housing prices I decided to sell and almost double my investment. That creates a free windfall profit I wasn't counting on before to buy the Maverick

Probably will sell my 2003 Mercedes S600 that I daily drive. Will be weird going from a twin turbo V12 large sedan to a small hybrid pickup truck daily driver. I also have two corvettes and a toyota supra but not looking to sell those. This will be my first Ford vehicle.

My ‘21 Crosstrek sport. Bought it as a good mpg commuter vehicle with some utility. The Maverick offers more utility and better mpg. Plus if the trade in value stays this high it will almost be an even swap.

Once I get my Maverick I will have to decide what I'm doing with my 2001 Ford ranger still in great shape(other than the bumpers) it will be a sad but happy time.

Rolling the dice and hoping to get enough $ from the sale of my 2017 Honda Ridgeline with 75K miles to completely cover the cost of the XLT Hybid I ordered. From what I’ve seen I think I can. Ford ain’t Honda, but if you can get a new vehicle for the same money, it’s with the risk.

Already sold 2001 Ford Mustang that I totally customized, Silver with Black Racing Stripes, Black lettering for Mustang in rear bumper, and Black Mustang down the sides of the door and rocker panels. Getting ready to sell 2004 Dodge Dakota, got in an accident with it a few years ago and getting the hood and fender painted to match the rest of the truck. Wife has a 2005 Ford Escape with the 3.0 V6 and AWD, she loves it but is a little jealous of me getting a new truck. I told her after the Maverick is paid for we will get her a Bronco Sport or Escape, by then the 2021 model year of both of those should be for sale as nice used vehicles.

2017 Volkswagen Tiguan Wolfsburg 4Motion. Bought brand new. I even got to take the plastic off the interior and exterior. I think it had 11 or so miles on it.

Nice! I had a '98. Do you have the big V6 in it? Why get rid of it?

Doesn't have the big V6. I do some highway driving for work and have to take the kiddo to school. Gotta get him out of the front seat and want something with better MPG. Good little truck, but I seldom keep 2 of something if one will do.
