I have a whole box of stuff- waiting on a build date for my August 1 order. Feeling like it is a box of stuff heading to Goodwill at this point.

Oh man, where to start... In no particular order:
  • FORScan Cruise Control mod - crazy cool to have cruise without extra stuff I didn't care to have and a lower barrier to entry.
  • Fiesta ST Leather Steering Wheel - love the quality of life improvements, and it absolutely changes the feel of the truck for the better
  • Truxedo X15 Soft Roll-up - looks pristine on the truck, keeps things protected from light elements, and no trash dropped in the bed by parking lot punks
  • Bed Cubbies x2 - XL started with none and now with two I've got plenty of space to toss stuff that would otherwise have to go into the cab
  • Tailgate Assist - lose a bottle opener tie-down, gain luxury for cheap.
  • FITS prints - making good use of those FITS tethers, cup holders in the back when I need them, otherwise I can use that space for any number of other things.
  • FORScan TSR (Traffic Sign Recognition) - wild that everything is there but no trim naturally has it (to my knowledge). Figured I'd do it for fun but it turns out I sometimes miss a speed change, but not anymore.
  • Lasfit Switchback LEDs - really improves the look of the vehicle day to day. Just know the International Space Center can track when you've got your turn signal on at night, they're bright.
  • Reverse light/cargo lamp LEDs - in both situations where these matter, more light = more better. See behind you more clearly and in your bed better, not expensive. Huge effort to payout ratio
Mods that I like with some reservations:
  • Buschur Air Intake - I wanted the turbo whoosh, now I've got the turbo whoosh. All the time. You really learn how quick that twin scroll turbo is to spool up... I maybe want a little less whoosh now. Definite gains vs box and paper filter, but I'm torn between it and a K&N drop in filter. Not a bad buy, and clears a lot of space in the engine bay.
  • Stubby Antenna - looks great, keep swapping back to the original. Reception on either isn't great and in just trying to figure which one sucks less - stubby 1000% has the better look, though. Might go full RC car and get a long whippy antenna and see how that fares.
  • Nexar Dash Cam - was never meant to be permanent, and it works great, but I don't like how utterly dependent on my phone it is, just for features other dashcams easily do on their own. Considering a return, strongly.
I've got some more fun mods coming in here soon!

Truxedo Lo Pro Soft roll up tonneau keep my tools dry, Elevate rails with Angry Elephant Rack for hauling everything but mostly lumber, old F150 Rubber Bed mat cut to size, cubby storage on drivers side, led lights for bed. Also added the Escape all weather mats instead of Weathertech since they cover all of the carpet. All useful for me.

Do you notice any wind noise with the rack?

Goes to show how high that bed is compared to the roof, it seems companies don’t make an adjustable rack that sits low enough at lowest position to be below the roof line of the mav, that can also extend above it. So far that I’ve seen.

Yes. The wind noise sounds like it’s making it’s way through a door that has no weatherproofing around it. It’s a bit of a whistle. There is so many spots for wind to grab I don’t think you can do much about it. I will say that pictures make it look much taller than it is. It’s not that bad in person. With that being said, I will most likely cut it so it sits lower than the cab or just at the cab height. Easy to do.

The stubby antenna was awful for me, especially for HD radio. Returned it.

Not going to sacrifice functionality for looks.

Great looking trucks. I'm digging how bright the bed lights are. Mind sharing what you used?

The mirror isn't something I considered, but after sitting in a demo it seems like a no-brainer. Any issues with it blocking your view out the windshield?

What bed lights did you go with? Thanks!

Did you go with the combo package?

So far, no mention of an audio upgrade. I don't have my Maverick yet but upgrading the audio is on my short list. I thought that'd be more popular than a tailgate dampener.
