I do not think it is totaled. My 2022 was totaled in December. They estimated my damage around $26,000+. My amateur guess would be $12,000-15,000. I hope you are compensated by the driver at fault.

When I was rear ended on Dec. 23rd by a guy doing about 30 mph, my 2022 XLT withstood the impact with no one (3 passengers) being injured. The truck was totaled because he rammed me into a Suburban. I am now driving my 2024 XLT 2.0 and feel safe in my (toy truck). lol

I ordered my fist Maverick Nov. 2021, delivered March 2022. It was totaled Dec.15, 2023. Luckily I found a dealer with an almost identical 2024 XLT 2.0. and will take delivery Jan. 3, 2024. I am really fortunate.

My XLT was shipped through KC also. It was in the holdover lot for about a month before being shipped to Reuther in Herculaneum. On my last visit to KC there were tons of Ford vehicles in lots waiting for chips. It's possible they are running out of space in KC, thus shipping to East STL in IL.

I had a similiar rear end accident in March when my XLT was only 2 weeks old. My accident was in Nashville when returning from Florida. The bumper and fixing the fender was $2,000. The dealer did a great job and it looks like new.

I have a bed extender (factory) on my XLT. If I line it with a tarp it could hold more. Next time I will let you know how it works.;)
