I'll try that!
Appreciate you and everyone for their feedback! 😌
Just curious, have you tried a USB-C to USB-C cable instead of the USB-A to USB-C one? I've had better reliability with all C, in a 2023 XLT hybrid so not sure if that's standard for all trims and model years.

If you're really motivated, the USB Implementers Forum maintains a list of certified suppliers and products:

In general, the following should be decent:
- Anker
- Cable Matters
- Monoprice
- Startech

Good idea.

I know they dropped the USB charger in many phone packages, but at least kept the cable.

As mentioned by Colini - the cheap cables available everywhere can be a problem.

Some won't allow full charging that is possible, others no data or poor data speeds - despite their claims and high ratings. ("I just got the cable, looks like good quality, 5 stars" - useless)
Appreciate it at least it sounds like its a cable issue and not a vehicle

Your Galaxy S23 should have come with a USB-C to USB-C cable. Every Samsung since at least the S20 has only come with C <-> C cables.

Sorry Not familiar with the lingo. My phone is C type and I'm connecting to the port in the truck. Not to see type but the other one. I believe it's called a USB port? There's only two of them on the MY25 in the front.
Hopefully that helps
Yeah...the correct terminology is.... the big one is USB - A....the little one is USB-C...on the dash of the truck. When I first got my Mav I was using the USB-A into my iPhone 11. Now I have an IPhone 16 and I switched to USB-C to "C" connection on the bottom of my phone. Works better with the smaller/faster USB port. Hope that helps.

I had to go through 3 cables until I found one that worked on my Lariat. It is a 40 Gbps USB-C to USB-C.

To what though? Phone? USB storage?

If phone, get a new cable from your phone's maker. Or get a quality one from ANKER. Amazon has 'em.

It may have but it's long gone now... When I got it I thought it was a waste of a cord. Didn't know C2C was available

Well, I guess it could still be defective. I've been using a C to C with no issues. The lightning just indicates fast charging and higher transfer rates.
Yeah I'll pick up a C to C and see what happens. Thanks!

It's intermittent so sometimes it happens and sometimes it doesn't. It's still charges but the error message happens and it won't connect to the truck. But again it's just intermittent because sometimes I have zero problems at all.
Could be a bad cable. Had it happen my my 2022. New cable - no problems.
