Another reason could be that the production plant says they can sustain X number of vehicles being built but the powers that be want to have all builds done before they open the 2023 gates so they schedule X + 15% every week...that would explain clean up weeks and build dates being pushed back so frequently.
There's absolutely no way Ford can get all builds done before they open up MY23 ordering. I bet they will keep stringing along until they open the order banks for MY23, then tell many of us we are being pushed to MY23 and not given any priority in scheduling-we will be thrown in among all the MY23 orders. I honestly think i won't see my 7/7 hybrid lux (changed to DIBL in November) until MY23, whether that be late fall 2022 or sometime in 2023.

In reading all of these the one very common theme with continually delayed units seems to be the Hybrid Lux package.

Same here 3/14 to 4/11 as others have posted, at least I have a date. Kind of like Dumb and Dumber “So you're telling me there's a chance!”

I don't no about that. I just have a basic XLT hybrid on order with the trailer hitch and 400v in cab add on...

We'll I agree, I ordered on 8/20 and now am not expecting delivery until middle of June. We'll at least it will be a birthday gift. What upsets me is, I already traded in my 2014 F150 Crew Cab for $4K difference out the door for a Rapid Red FE Lariat.
I dumped my 2014 gas-guzzling Titan thinking I'd only be the winter months without a Truck. Any further delays will start affecting my springtime honey-do list.

Same here, the truck I ordered is for a business I run but what can we do? People are blaming Ford for "piss poor planning" as a business when apparently they also have illustrated "piss poor planning" as a business owner themselves.
Ha ha, touche!

We will be lucky if oil is only $100 a barrel by summer. The 40MPG hybrid will be a wonderful thing to own.

We ordered July 18th, and have not received a scheduling notice.

I was reluctant to order a vehicle without being sure that I could fit inside without difficulty. But my wife told me to order the hybrid as it was a great investment. Based on the listings I see on autotrader, I would get well over list price from one of the national used car sellers.

The supply chain is a real mess. I choose to believe that Ford is having supply issues. I choose to hope that Ford is taking a little extra time to make sure that quality is job one.

I am disappointed, but I am disappointed a lot...

PS:I was going to order a new boat last summer. They could only "suggest" that late 2023 would be the earliest they could build one.

I feel for you guys. I was scheduled in December for Feb. 21st. Just got pushed back to March 14th. Sold my 02 Ranger in October, and I only have a motorcycle to ride. My kids are about to really hate me when baseball starts in March. FML.

I did the same - sold my Q5 in December and just riding my trusty Yamaha TW200 right now. Fortunately my June 28th order is currently in transit to the dealer, but that t-dub is getting some miles right now. Right there with you!

Call me crazy but I wouldn’t take 10k over MSRP. The hybrid engine and practicality of this vehicle suits my lifestyle perfectly. So, I wait and build the down payment fund. All good.
