These delays don't bode well for those of us that haven't got a build date at all. If you guys are being pushed into mid April already, where are they going to fit in the rest of us? I'm a late August guy and can realistically see another five months to go.

I find it hard to believe that Ford is going to be able to fill all the 2022 orders.
We'll I agree, I ordered on 8/20 and now am not expecting delivery until middle of June. We'll at least it will be a birthday gift. What upsets me is, I already traded in my 2014 F150 Crew Cab for $4K difference out the door for a Rapid Red FE Lariat.

Same early June Hybrid XL order received an initial date of March 14 last week and then today bumped to April 11th. It's comical at this point.

Agree with you on a lot of that but for some people (like me) these trucks are how we make a living in the first world.
Same here, the truck I ordered is for a business I run but what can we do? People are blaming Ford for "piss poor planning" as a business when apparently they also have illustrated "piss poor planning" as a business owner themselves.

Dude Im effing livid. I got the production email back in December for a Feb 21st prod date. Now they moved it to March 21st. Im legit pissed as shit and will most likely be saying im cutting my losses and moving on. Honestly Im just about done with waiting. Settling with an SUV or a Jeep might not be a bad idea either.
My Feb 8 build date moved back to Feb 21. I guess I stole your spot. Sorry.

Not sorry.

Got the coveted scheduled for production email six days ago, scheduled for March 13. New date is April 11.
Aaaaaaaand Whammyyyyyyyyy!
Not shocked. Not gonna piss and moan about it, just sharing the update. Details in my signature.
Sounds like a shutdown may be coming.....this doesnt bode well for Sept/Oct orders!

My basic XL Eco with 4k tow was moved up from 2/14 to 2/7 this week.

This sounds like constraints and/or Ford moving parts to higher profit vehicle production for many of you.

Fingers crossed for you! The June/July orders need some love!
Ordered XLT hybrid late June, just after cutting my 2 acre back yard, cut my grass many times since. Then fall bird hunting and fall colors, then deer hunting. Been ice fishing since Chrismas, more to do. Then spring trout fishing and mushroom picking, then more grass to cut. I'm thinking June also when mine gets here, and I'll say Wow, it's been a year now, seems like only 2 or 3.

My understanding was that to schedule production, they ( @Ford ) waited until they had all necessary build components on site/confirmed. To delay a month just 6 days after scheduling something must have shifted dramatically wouldn't you think?
I could believe the reallocation of chips to more profitable builds, but that is extremely short term thinking for a long term company. They don't need to bump the stock price right now unless they intend to unload stock. Other thought would be issue at factory - machine issues, employee issues....

Thoughts?

Another reason could be that the production plant says they can sustain X number of vehicles being built but the powers that be want to have all builds done before they open the 2023 gates so they schedule X + 15% every week...that would explain clean up weeks and build dates being pushed back so frequently.

We got same email it was 3-14 build date now 4-11 wife is pissed, At the rate Ford is going it will be 12 months before we see it, We ordered 6-14. Why is it that June orders are always getting screwed over?
Probably because the June orders were placed before the July, August, September,.....etc. and they are working on those first. I am down to one vehicle and am keeping eye out for a $1500 junker PU that can move as emergency backup. Also drawing plans for walipini greenhouse, converting well and critical circuits to solar power. Plus other things. (Solar recharged battery & inverter for freezers in garage and frig in house??) 🤔🤗

Wow, you need a portable. Open floor rabbit run to raise your survival protein. Maybe a pellet press for winter feed for them.
