Verifying that your order was placed with Ford

I placed my order for a Maverick with the Lariat package at the dealer on July 9th. I have yet to receive any emails from Ford notifying me that an order has been placed on my behave. Is there a way to verify that your order has been placed with the factory, other than the dealer verbally telling you so, even if it hasn't been scheduled? Thanks

My dealer used his email so the only way i found out that mine was scheduled was calling them.

I feel your pain - I ordered a Lariat Lux on July 19. You can call Ford or use the chat online. They will ask you for the 4-Digit Order Number (dealer assigned) and Dealer info or Dealer #. They will confirm they have your order in the system. They don't give too many more details but it will confirm you have an order in.

I'm in the same boat... Its been a week and still no email. I chatted with Ford customer support the other day and they said my order status is "processing" and any further questions should be directed towards my dealer. Does processing mean the order is confirmed or does that mean the dealer still has some steps to do?

I went to the dealer on Monday and got an email from Ford.com confirming my order on Tuesday. But, I was told I would need to wait about 14 weeks for delivery by the dealer.

Yes there is, You should call Ford Marketing Headquarters - Customer Service the # is: 800-334-4375. Customer Service will need your Sale Code # and your Order Code #.

The # I call back in Aug.12 was this 800-334-4375
This is Ford Marketing Support. After speaking with their general customer service, they recommended I contact them as they apparently know more about the constraints and email notification system than general customer service.

I am not sure what the microchip back log has to do with whether or not your dealer actually placed an order for you or merely put in a reservation for you. My dealer took a copy of my DL and a refundable cash deposit. I had to sign the order with my build on it as well.
