On my Maverick order, the dealership said I mut have the SecureEtch ($299.) although I don't want it and my insurance agent says it's not something that will affect my policy positively. Did your dealer say "It’s a non-optional anti-theft device that goes on every vehicle we sell. We’re not allowed to removed it. " or is this just my dealer policy? Thanks for you input and mine is going to be Catcus Gray, too.
Can you say ‘ Bull Sh@&$’.

Thats a requirement they have developed for what ever reason. Like $299 in their pocket.

Do you have the B&O sound system in your truck? If so, can you comment (opinion) on the quality of the sound??

That's your dealer putting on add ons sounds like.

I had a thought for transporting bikes in the bed; Place the back wheel of the bicycle up against the cab. Then place the front wheel on the tailgate at the 45 degree angle, and strap it in. I believe this should work. It would eliminate having to remove the bikes front wheels and securing it into a bike rack, or using a bike rack with the trailer hitch.
For a normal bicycle I'd say that's fine. As for the Rebel 1100 that has a weight of approx. 490 lbs. it's safer to carry her diagonally across the bed

Yeah. That's a big reason why I went with GG. I like the contrast between the lighter grey and the darker trim. Now, I just hope someone produces an affordable bed cap to match:

I've seen on Ford Build your Truck showing caps in all colors for Maverick. p.s. Does all the XLTs come with rear center armrest?

Still loving it? This is the exact build I’m looking to get in august when they open back up again.

What about the radio is garbage, the speakers or the head unit? I don’t want a lariat just for sync 3 and an acoustic windshield. Are you using apple car play or android auto?

also I notice you're running ATs. Did you notice a drop in MPGs? I have wild peaks on my 15’ F150 and I saw a HUGE DROP in mine! 5.0 went from 18.5 mpg to 15 at best and that’s mostly highway. I can’t wait to sell it.

It’s just very buggy. Lots of lagging and hang ups on the controls for it. I just uploaded a firmware update today so we’ll see if it improves. A Lariat that has Sync 3 might be better. I use CarPlay a lot but the head unit still has hang ups and other issues in Car Play. I know lots of people complain about the speakers but I just don’t care enough for that to matter.

A slight dip with the tires but nothing huge (.5 -1 mpg). But I also didn’t go significantly bigger. I have 235s which were an OEM optional size anyway. I also haven’t been doing a lot of Highway so I’m obviously not getting what I could be.
