I'm going to have to take a close look at mine as well. Built Ford Tough-ish.

Mine are doing the same. I have a soft canvas roll up tonneau cover and live inland Southern California where it does get 100+.

24’ Lariat…

Darn . would think ford should have this worked out before production . something else to keep track of . like the truck not the issues especially because of concerns with poor dealership interactions .

Uh oh - you had a cover installed from the start?

I move from morning shade to afternoon shade around lunch.
My cover is a horizontal pinch plastic (truck & cover), not vertical style (truck only).
I even redid clamps because I noticed plastic slid a bit - of course it did!
Yes -- I purchased my Maverick in Dec, and installed the Ford soft roll-up in Feb.

I think I'm going to re-clamp mine in some summer heat, when the plastic should be allowed to max expand.
I guess it could have a bad effect too when it gets colder and it wants to contract and can't, I guess it'll literally stretch a bit then between clamps. So then when heat comes back around a slight crumple effect anyway.

I've seen vinyl siding done wrong, where it's not allowed to float at nailing points.
Winter attachment and summer expand is much worse compared to summer attach and winter shrink.
But after a few years you still start to get a crumpling effect anyway.

I have a 23 Tremor with a hard top roll up cover from Ford.. it has the same warps.. I have taken it to Ford months ago and I'm still waiting for a response from them.. I haven't checked in a couple weeks.. perhaps I should swing by on my way home from work and ask again.. I live in NE Pennsylvania..
