picked it up a little over a week ago (November order)

Hot Pepper Red Lariat Lux FX4
Rolling on Vision Monaco 20x8.5 with 245/45/20 Falkens
Lowered via Scale coilovers (low version)
Lots of little things added (tailgate strut, hood struts, Buschur intake, window tint)
A couple of modifications of note:
Retro fit a/c controls with the temp screens from a 21 Bronco Sport
Editing this part real quick
The Bronco Sport controls caused a fault in my drive mode selection so I ended up switching to an Escape control panel that works flawlessly
Some people have been able to use the Bronco one with no issue
I guess your mileage may vary

Red tinted taillights to get rid of that weird clear/chrome section all Mavericks have
Rocking a Raceface tailgate pad since I bought this specifically to carry bikes

There will be many mods to come as I have time and trying to wait on products to be released
I’m not good at fabricating things so I try to not if I can help it
Let’s see if anyone notices what was done in this last pic (and it’s not the removal of the headrests)

F150
Escape and Bronco Sport will work but the graphics won’t match because neither of those have beds

We’ll have a bit of a setback as far as the audio system goes….

Took my truck in for the airbag recall
Well instead of the water bottle that some people got, I ended up with a severely scratched dash
Not 100% what the tech did but it’s no way acceptable
I always ask that they don’t wash my truck (they run it through some quick wash deal in the back that just makes it dirtier) so the tech just parked it up front when it was done
My service advisor (who is also a friend) didn’t look at it so he didn’t know what had happened
When I picked it up it was near closing time and he wasn’t there but I shot him some pics and he was pissed
So we have a meeting with the service manager when he returns from vacation

Looks like I’ll be getting a new dash, which is extremely annoying
I’m not sure I want to install my speakers if they are going to be removing everything anyway
Not even sure what the wait would be for a part like that
I’m not really concerned as I know they will take care of it, just sucks a tech…. That is touching my truck…. Which is obviously customized and very well cared for…. Wouldn’t take extra precautions to keep from doing damage
They already know I inspect my truck completely anytime I take it there, so I’m just baffled this was possible
I wouldn’t be surprised if the tech comes up and apologizes to me (I know a couple of the techs as well)

Overall just dumb and the new dash had better not rattle, my current one doesn’t at all

On a brighter note I got my new center channel speaker from @Nw_adventure today, even though I can’t install it yet

Just got my truck back from the side airbag recall. And I got some scratches too. Not sure if I should let it go? Who knows if they would scratch a new one going in?

If they scratch the new one going in they will order another
If I scratched the dash I can live with it, however I didn’t, so I won’t accept it

I am working on a way to nicely disguise scratches as with all the removing and replacing of pieces I’ve been doing the last few months
Cheap trucks are made with cheap plastic

I'm going to have to call the dealership today about it. Usually the dealer calls me to see how the service went. For some reason I didn't hear from them? Also not sure if they have to test drive after this recall? Because I recorded my miles at drop of time. Looks like they drove it 4 miles? Not sure why?

I wasn’t keeping track, I don’t believe they drove it after, but it’s possible

Supposedly my BAP headlight donor truck will be leaving on Monday
If it goes through the headlight swap will have cost me $224
Not mad about that at all

Tomorrow should be a beautiful day so my plans are to hit the truck hard getting this audio equipment installed
Goal is to get the whole rear buttoned up with plastics trimmed and everything looking finished back there
Probably won’t have time to install the front speakers/run wires into the doors/treat the doors
Not jazzed about installing the tweeters in the dash that will be replaced in the near future but I can’t wait forever to finish the system
I think I have all the parts needed
I guess we shall see tomorrow

Figure probably by this time next year I’ll be done with the audio system
Amp rack is all wrapped with carpet and inserts for the machine screws were installed (that big amp is hella heavy, didn’t want to risk screws stripping)
Completely forgot to install inserts for the subs…. So I have to go get more
Went ahead and mocked the heavy stuff in place….. got all the rear plastics trimmed to fit (and treated with hushmat)
All that is left is to decide how to run the power/ground wires then mount them and connect everything
Front speakers will be last
Still have a little carpet work to do

Installed everything, hoping I didn’t forget anything
Just need to connect the power cable to the battery so I can test the subs
I’ve just not been motivated enough to tackle the front speakers
