My replacement dash has arrived
Going to swing by the dealer today to schedule an appointment

Also my noob ness at fiberglassing is showing…. The sub enclosure has some leaks that I need to fix
Def could have done the box differently…. And should have done it differently

If the leaks are small just get duraglass or kitty hair and seal them up from the inside. If it is due to the fiberglass being to thin then you are going to have to layer more fiberglass.

Loctite PL Premium construction adhesive will seal any gaps without issue. Use it all the time building home theater speaker cabinets, and car audio stuff too. You plenty of setup and working time, and it's thick so it's easy to get placed where you want it and smoothed out. Just don't get it on anything you don't want stuck together. :)

Figure probably by this time next year I’ll be done with the audio system
Amp rack is all wrapped with carpet and inserts for the machine screws were installed (that big amp is hella heavy, didn’t want to risk screws stripping)
Completely forgot to install inserts for the subs…. So I have to go get more
Went ahead and mocked the heavy stuff in place….. got all the rear plastics trimmed to fit (and treated with hushmat)
All that is left is to decide how to run the power/ground wires then mount them and connect everything
Front speakers will be last
Still have a little carpet work to do

Also removed the last bit of chrome from the exterior

What did you use for the lariat lettering?

Looking good. You will be happy with the Hertz audio comps.

Need some adjustment ability so I ordered an Audio Control DQDX that will be here Friday
Still chasing leaks in the box, getting closer though
Hopefully can button up the rear this weekend…. Looking forward to having a backseat again
Will be taking the truck back to the dealer so they can fix more damaged caused while they worked on it
Scratched a fender and dented the door sill
Taking bets on what they mess up this time
My prediction is the wheels

Reminds me that I have one somewhere in my collection of old gear. Mines one that required the chips to be swapped out to change the curves and such though. Wonder if I still have it.
