How do you use your points to purchase accessories, do you have to order at the dealership? I can't see how to order online and use your points. If you know the answer let me know thanks.

Many threads on this. You can refer to this one:

OR scroll down to read additional articles on this subject.

It is confusing and there is no real info to the public. Even dealer material looks confusing.

I tried to use https://accessories.ford.com/

but couldn’t use it because it did not list any Ford dealerships near by so I went to my local Ford dealership and ordered thru the parts dept.

I called the parts dept and they had no clue on how to use them which is strange because I don't think this is anything new

From the FAQ found on Fords website.
https://www.ford.com/support/fordpass/fordpass-rewards/faqs/

Perhaps the dealer you called does not participate in the program. Because Ford dealerships are franchises that are independently owned and operated they can choose not to participate.

How do members redeem FordPass Rewards Points?
FordPass Rewards Points can be redeemed for any qualifying transaction at any participating dealership. A member may also redeem Points toward the purchase of a new vehicle at a participating dealership. The member can simply let the dealership know they want to redeem Points and provide their Member ID (found in the FordPass App or within the account settings at Ford.com).
Also from FAQ......
Can FordPass Rewards Points be redeemed on Fordparts.com?
Not at this time. FordParts.com doesn't currently integrate with the FordPass ecosystem.
Can these FordPass Rewards Points be used for something other than maintenance visits?
Yes. Members may use their Points for Ford service, accessories, or anything else that can be redeemed for in FordPass Rewards. This could include a discount towards the purchase of their next vehicle.

My local dealers part dept ordered the 2 things I wanted to use my points on. (Mud flaps and window vents). When the came in a few days later I had to go to the service dept. and the service writer had to go into the system to use my points.

I emailed Fairway Ford Parts and told them my FordPass Rewards #, what part numbers I wanted to order and it was done. Just be aware, it’s 200 points for every dollar purchased. I used 18,660 points for the $90 purchase of the front and rear mud flaps.

I just order and picked up splash guards through my local dealership using the Ford Pass Points.

I first tried online, but you can't use the points that way and was told that Ford is changing their system, where you can select points to order in the future.

My local dealership was not listed on the Ford Accessories website, so like many others, I called my local Ford dealership and ordered directly through them.

FYI - It Takes A While for your Ford Pass App to show the points are used once orderd, so be patient.

I ordered mud flaps ($100) and the tailgate assist kit $50. I have about $60 left to spend on something else.

This is the way to go OP. Basically 20% discount on everything. I did this as well to use all of my points on accessories, and I used a credit card to pay the difference of what my points didn't cover in my order. They'll make a custom invoice for you, you can't do it automatically through the online store.

I ordered a tonneau cover from Fairway and it was sent with 2 left rails rather than L and R. Contacted them and they corrected it right away and got me the replacement part - great dealer to order from A-1+ customer service !!!!

Fairway wouldn’t order a tailgate bike pad because it is too big to ship. Apparently a flexible cloth pad is bigger than shippable tonneau parts šŸ˜‚

Seriously?! o_O

Shame on Ford.

Chevy makes this stupid simple!

I login to Chevy's website, add accessory, select dealer to pickup/install, pay with points!

Just got my 42k points, was clicking everywhere on Ford's website to get them to work; so I have to read 3 documents, call a dealer, and pray my dealer works with Ford's Points?!
