NO - You can use a paper bog if you want
NO - You don't have to use a certain brand of oil filter with an oil change, but I do. I have used Mobil 1 for several years now and "might" use in the Mav.
Just trying to give a little bit of information that I received when inquiring about the proper...
Plain and Simple - NOT everyone will use the Motorcraft oil, and some will use Mobil 1 - Then the Mobil 1 oil filter M1-102A is the filter needed.
Just trying to help - if not information for you - THEN MOVE ON!
Received the following message from Mobil 1 today:
There are two engines in the 2022 Ford Maverick, 2.0L and 2.5L.
Both call for the Mobil1 M1-102A Oil Filter
This one worked for us and is alot less price than 4knines. Installed the Black/Orange in my Maverick and got the Black set for the wife's Subaru. At $50.00 you can't go wrong.
Very simple install and great to water resistances and ease cleanup.
Remember the dealer owns the vehicle until you purchase it! The dealer can use "your" Maverick for advertising, promotion and in some "scum bag" situations, even sell to the highest bidder.
That is why you always get a Signed DORA and order from a good dealer.
Do you get a DORA? If you got the DORA, all ordered options should be listed on this document. If you waited until production to check your DORA and then found out the 4K Tow was missing, then sorry. Purchase, Sell and Order again. It would cost you Thousands to add the 4K Tow after the fact...
Hope your deposit was "Refundable"! Several 2022 orders weren't listed/signed as refundable and the orderer was Highly Pissed when they couldn't get back their Large Deposit!
