The Glove box organizer seems to be the cheesiest one on the list, but who knows, I might be the cat's meow.
I wouldn't say it's my "favorite"...it's not the sort of thing one gets super excited about...but the glove box organizer is one of the best upgrades I've done. Cheap, quick, simple, and incredibly useful.

If I had to pick a favorite? For mine, it'd either be the Mabett fender flares or the TuffSkinz rear tailgate lettering. Both make a huge difference to the overall appearance of the vehicle.

Our Mavericks have a lightweight hood & a nifty dual click cable release - but several forum folks have reported issues with strut installs…

Several threads can be reviewed if you search “hood strut issues”. Just make sure to hit the little google icon instead of the search button - search button will give you squat.

I just picked up my 2026 Ford Maverick Tremor last night.
As you do, I jumped on this form and on Amazon to see what accessories I should get for my new toy.

So far, I ordered:

Let me know what your favorite accessory is.
if I had to pick a favorite, the T-mat that I just got. It replaced my DIY bed slide tray (made from OSB that got wet and it got a little too heavy)

Congrats on the new truck! Be aware if you do the tailgate assist you will lose one of the handy tiedown/bottle openers on the tailgate. There is a member here who fabricates a replacement though.
I added the Maybett storage box that fits just ahead of the armrest, my wife likes to toss her purse on the center console and it was consistently on top of the shift knob, her purse fits perfectly in the bin. https://www.amazon.com/Mabett-Acces...anizer/dp/B0F2SYYXYD/ref=ast_sto_dp_puis?th=1
https://a.co/d/estzgIm. Supposedly will work with tailgate assist. I have it on my list

Only must have accessory I have is all-weather floor mats. $80 TPE mats from Amazon, Husky, Weathertech...pick your poison.

Center console and dash cubbie trays are definitely nice to make those storage areas more useful. The TPE console lid cover is also kinda nice since the OE material is a bit suspect for long term durability if you use it as an armrest frequently. I like the idea of a 1 piece removable insert for the cup holders too that others have posted to make that easier to clean.

I don't know about a lot of the other stuff, particularly the tailgate and hood struts. The tailgate on this vehicle isn't exactly a struggle to open and close, and neither is the hood.

You can swap to these tailgate tie downs if you add a tailgate assist. Very inexpensive and they are actually easier to use than the OEM ones.

I received my first accessory, the glove box divider. I quite like it.
Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Pros:
  • Fit is nice
  • Easy to install
  • Keeps stuff organized
  • Easier to find things
  • Easy to remove and to clean.
Cons:
  • Not perfectly straight.

Ford Maverick UPDATE: What are the go-to accessories for my 2026 Maverick? IMG_3479

Here is the current list of accessories, with my take on each one.

  • Truck Bed Cargo Net: https://amzn.to/49gXbDd

  • Center Console Organizer: https://amzn.to/49hJbsS

  • Glove Box Organizer: https://amzn.to/3LfJzjG
Much Better than I thought, five stars.

  • Visor Rain Guards: https://amzn.to/4js1mAY
Don't know if I need this; there's not much rain here in Vegas.

  • Mabett Seat Covers: https://amzn.to/3N697QY
These are a good one to keep on the list if I ever need them. They look pretty nice.

  • Screen Protector for 2025 2026: https://amzn.to/4aEQYnb
I am not a big screen protector guy, but I can see where this would have value.

  • Ford Maverick Center Console Organizer Drink Holder: https://amzn.to/4pl3xaQ
I see the appeal of this one; it makes it easier to keep the cup holes clean.

  • Door Side Storage Tray: https://amzn.to/3YnCMro
This one looks good, too, to make it easier to clean out the door cubbies.

  • Door Sill Protector: https://amzn.to/4pYmxgq
I have never had an issue with my door sills becoming damaged. But I can see where it might be useful.

  • Hood Water Barrier: https://amzn.to/4qfgZ1d
This solves a problem I did not know I had. I may look into these.

  • Tailgate Hole Cover: https://amzn.to/49pJ9zn
I read about this one on the forums. Is it really a problem?

  • Tailgate Lift Assist: https://amzn.to/3YHvtLn
I am on the fence on this one. I see this one getting in the way, and the tailgate is not that heavy. But to protect small fingers, it may be worth it.

  • Mabett Rear Bumper Cover Plate: https://amzn.to/4sGv4qj
After seeing this one, I now notice how unfinished the back looks. I may invest in this one on the next round.
Wow, @MaverickDragon, that is quite a list. I will take a look at those as well.

Here is another update on the accessories I have ordered and installed.

I installed the Center Console Organizer today https://amzn.to/49hJbsS, and it's great. I give it Five Stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Ford Maverick UPDATE: What are the go-to accessories for my 2026 Maverick? IMG_3485

When I ordered it, I thought it would only give me an additional level of storage. It sits above the bottommost part of the center console storage area, providing THREE levels of storage. Word of warning, you can't put anything tall in there, and you can't just put the top-most tray in. You could use the larger try (middle) if you wanted.

The place mats are nice enough and seem to stay in place. They are also easy enough to remove and clean.

I drove the Maverick to the store today, and I forgot the thing was in there. There is no vibration or noise from the trays.

Overall, I am happy with the purchase.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Items
  • Center Console Organizer: https://amzn.to/49hJbsS
Great organizer, no vibration, and provides three levels of storage. You can't store anything large in the center console with the trays, so keep that in mind.

  • Glove Box Organizer: https://amzn.to/3LfJzjG
Much Better than I thought. No vibration and fits well.
Trying soon:
  • Mabett Rear Bumper Cover Plate: https://amzn.to/4sGv4qj
After seeing this one, I now notice how unfinished the back looks. I may invest in this one on the next round.

Have on hand and review coming:

Greetings...I am new on here. Picked up my '26 Lobo High, 2.0 Ecoboost
in Velocity Blue on Jan. 3rd. Glad I found this Forum since there is a whole bunch of good info. here. Mine came with the spare tire, won't have any vehicle without that. I have coming, Ford mud guards and the tri fold tonneau cover. Cleans up the look.

I just ordered some Maxzima items from Amazon.
1. Console organizer. 2. Glove box organizer. 3. Under hood drain plugs. 4. Door sill inner and outer protectors. 5. Tailgate hole cover.

I'm looking at other "possibles" but this should be good for now. I am retired and the bed won't get much use, and no "work truck" type use for sure. I've owned MANY different kinds of cool and fun vehicles. This Lobo seemed like it would be something a little different that what I've been buying.
Yrs. ago I did own 2 Rangers. One was a 4.0 V6 extra cab bought new, and a more base model with the 2.9 V6 with a 5 speed stick. And I've owned 12 Mustangs, all GT's, including 2 Cobra versions and a Saleen SSC.

Cars, suv's and now a truck are my fun and enjoyment. I know many "younger people" love all black wheels. Well, I don't and have never had black wheels on any vehicle. So, my dealers GSM who I dealt with exclusively, said he'd swap the Lobo black spoke wheels for the brushed frontal wheels off a new Lariat! Including tires. The wheels are the same as the black no cost option ones for the Lariat, so he had no problem doing it. No cost, no charge. Made me happy. So, I am driving a rare Lobo with "non Lobo wheels!" LOL!! We all have our preferences.

Thanks to everyone on here. I hope to learn more about this Maverick, beyond what I already know, and I hope I can contribute and be of help to someone or a few on here.
