Did they tell you as well that they were going to "red tape" the failed trans

they told me that with mine and that it meant no local tech was even going to look at it to tell me what failed.... Crate it and ship it to detroit thats all i got out of my original

I had iot replaced @ 926 miles i have ~9000mile now
running great

Cannot confirm 'red tape' action, but reading the repair ticket might lead to that conclusion. When I asked service rep what they found, he stated they did not open the transmission, just replaced it. The info below is from the repair ticket for the work.

- AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION 20103 VERIFIED CONCERN.

ON DEMAN ON DEMAND FAULT CODES WERE P0715 AND P073D.

WAS NECESSARY PUSH VEHICLE INTO STALL, WOULD NOT PULL.

AIR TESTED TRANS, VERIFIED INTERNAL FAILURE.

I RAN SMART COST CAP, RESULT WAS TO REPLACE DUE TO BACK ORDER FOR NEEDED PARTS.

THIS IS AN ALL WHEEL DRIVE VEHICLE.
REMOVED TRANS INSTALLED NEW TRANSMISSION.
REPLACED ALL ONE TIME USE FASTENERS AS REQUIRED.
TOPPED OFF FLUID TO FULL HOT. UPDATED STRATEGY AND ID.
ROAD TESTED TO VERIFY TRANS OPERATION.

OK ADVISE CUSTOMER TRANS IS IN ADAPTIVE LEARN, THIS WILL TAKE SEVERAL HUNDRED MILES TO COMPLETE
