Update : Video My own transmission issues high revv no movement

I just pulled out of my driveway this morning and i just knew something was wrong

Shifting into drive i gave gas and no moving
I read the other post and will be taking truck on Tuesday morn

Hopefully it’s something simple, really want these trucks to see crazy mileage and reliability (especially since I’m buying one)

My issue with this was ultimately fixed with a full transmission swap. Shop manager said they asked ford to let them do one the first time I took it in but Ford first had them try a throttle body replacement. When that didnt fix it, Ford gave them permission to go ahead with the full transmission replacement. Hope your fix is simpler.

It's a eco.

Valve body has all the solenoids for the transmission if I'm not mistaken.

I have just received word from ford service department that they will likely be performing a full trans replacement

yeah no kidding i'm glad it happened now and not while out on a trip or something
but with 926 miles on it its a bit unsettling

Just so people know - the Ecoboost is the only one with a tachometer. That's the giveaway. If it has a tach, it's an ecoboost.

Reliability? that's not what Ford is known for. Irregardless, the reason that most of us new comers buying the truck for is that it's supposed to be cheap or 'affordable'. But most dealers have fucked that up so bad that it's a one and done experience for people like myself. I'm sure I'm the one in minority here but heck if you want a convert from other brands it's time to make a good impression and unfortunately, Ford has sucked that up bigly.
